I actually just purchased the 16 2.8 RF. It doesn't quite give the amount of distortion I want in nighttime stage shots, but I'm real interested in how you process it to make it look wider. I don't have DXO; are there options for this kind of processing in LRC or PS? Or Topaz for that matter.
I'm looking for an inexpensive superwide and reasonably fast lens for concert photos. This lens was released in 1991; I'd be using it adapted on an R6. Will it work well with an adapter? Any other comments about the lens? It's reasonably priced as a used lens.
I should know this....but I don't. I'm looking for an inexpensive extra wide zoom for occasional use. What would I end up with if I used an adapted Sigma 18-35 1.8 in terms of output? Also considering a Samyang 14mm AF 2.8 with an RF mount.
Looking at buying a used lens and this one is listed with scratches. I'd be surprised if these would make any important impact on photo quality, but what's your opinion?
This is what I've learned since I posted this.
All Epson papers are not the same. I favor the Ultra Premium Glossy, and it will absolutely not dry with any regular Sharpie metallic markers, or multiple other markers I have tried. However, the Epson Premium Semi-gloss will accept almost any of...
What I've learned since I first posted this is interesting. All Epson papers are not the same. The ONLY metallic pen that will work and dry on Epson Ultra Premium Glossy are Sharpie Poster Paint markers. I have tried multiple other options and this is the only one that works. However, the...
Yes, I would have been shocked if a lens from the early 2000s would work. I have an R6. May give that one a try. Wouldn't be using it that much but it would fill a niche.....thanks!!
Curious as much as anything else, but has anyone used the older Tamron lenses (specifically the 35-150 2.8-4, or the 28-105 2.8) with an adaptor on R series cameras?
