Honestly I'm not surprise by these pictures taken with the stock kit 18-55mm I know it fashionable for alot of folks to trash about the kit lens but I've takes some stunning pictures with it because the camera is so easy to control and I can focus more on composition, color, lighting etc... ...
No I dont think so since its coming from Korea just watch out for shipping costs. One of the ways some sellers get back money is charging outrageous shipping fees , like charging $70.00usd for USPS priority mail for a package under 2 lbs small box is flat charge of 5.95 usd . E bay has done...
Well I agree calling the Sony 18-200mm a toy isnt fair. The Nikon 300mm x1.5=450mm effectively is a BIG, HEAVY, and VERY Expensive professional lens designed primarily for professional sports/wildlife photo shoots at a minimum needs a fairly heavy mono pod or tripod to be used most effectively...
I could live with Sony Alpha LAEA1 for me auto exposure is a bigger deal which this adapter has than auto focus. Beside if I remember in the Nex5n camera setting this a option for auto focus with manual fine tunning. La-ea2 is heavy, bulk and almost always need to be on a tripod or mono pod at a...
Honestly I think this going to be my approach to solving the need for a speed prime lens that auto focuses/exposes my Nex5n the la-ea2 is 139.00 usd and the sony 35 mm f/1.8 for 199.00 on amazon would be 1/3 the cost to the zeiss 24mm f/1.8 Wow. LoL And it should be nice for indoors and...
Blech . When I first started read Steve huff's forum I though he was a really smart mad scientist of photography, now I feel he's monty pythons long lost brother of the boxer Ken Clean air system . The dude is all over the map week to week saying one week the Nex7 is better than sex and white...
Yep I second that opinion . For reviews of anything electronic pc's, digital cameras , printers, etc.... the web and users forums like these will give you the straight sh*t on what's great, so so or a steam pile of feces. PC mag got exposed in the 90's more ad space = good reviews after...
Thanks for the reply D Cox is that the canon lens that works with a leica M mount adapter? I've read some nice things about the Canon rangefinder Leica clone lenes is still a 1.5 conversion because it was a 35mm flim lens so it would be a 75mm on the Nex5n?
Thanks for the quick reply Alan . So if I found lets say a nice compact relativity fast Olympus OM f/2.8 28mm or 35mm lens that would give me the nice old 35mm slr 50mm prime lens effect (picture speed and quality w/less flash) I'm looking for and even with the lens adapter I should be able to...
Ok if the slr magic are only for lack of a better term special effects/art lens what would be a good indoor lens? I mentioned early the not so fast sony 30mm , the Sonny 16mm (not a huge fan because any photo past 20 feet becomes distorted miniature mode due its extreme wide angle, and I think...
This was a lens Steve huff was raving about on his website for use with the Sony Nex system along with the 28mm f/2.8 lens. Their dirt cheap and look like ccd camera lens with a e series adapter attached to them. Has anyone used them and have some sample pictures to post . I'd like to have a...
yeah I would too but with my budget it wasn't in the cards. I still think soon rather than later sony or some aftermarket company will come out with screw in flash adapter and a audio out adapter or both in one adapter especially if the nex7 suffers a long delay with the Thailand floods delay it...
Yeap it going on my Christmas list. I just wish it was self powered because I notice if I use the stock flash for about 25 pic I lose 25% of my battery life so for the higher power unit it going to be worse. Oh well it looks like I also need a extra battery
I'd love to get a better flash for my Nex5n the stock flash is a red eye bomb and has limited but surprising range due to 5n excellent pictures it can take up to 3200 iso. But I'd like more power for outdoors and a flash that generates less red eye. So is it worth the extra bucks?
