Can the Hx100V replace my F717?
The F717 was excellent technology for its day. HX100 arrived as promised.
Note that BluRay and DVD impose their own video restrictions -- ATSC televisions can only display 30hz scan, not 60hz scan. So if you shoot 60hz frames (which are MPEG-4), you'll need to use post-processing to turn your video into a MPEG-2 that you can burn as a video to a BluRay or DVD disk...- badtux
