    Hi DSG, THanks for the advice. Just want to say that your photo shows minute detail like the facial hair but could also see plenty of noise.

    Are you colour deficient (blind)?

    I am a green-red color defect. Considered partial color blindness. Its predominantly a male problem passed on by the maternal side. Sadly its about 9% of male population suffers from it. Always wonder if color looks a lot more lively for those with color perfect. :-/

    Hi DSG, Thanks for the comment. didn't realise how sharp SD10 is. Now I do. Will try to look at more samples and see how sharp they are. Do you have portrait photo just like the one I show? rgds, Anthony ps. i do have irfanview. great tool!

    Also foto taken with Digital Rebel.. http://anthony3136.fotopic.net/c239902.html I think DR is not bad. I find the foveon chip image is simply stunning in terms of color. Will be saving funds.. slowly.. hopefully in a year or two, i would be able to get one..
