The whole "A" list of tech reps for Nikon were at a real photo show in Tampa, Imaging USA. CES is a waste for anyone who doesn't make HD video equipment or other electronic gadgets. So, why put your resources into a show where you would just blend into the background of a bunch of electronics...

from what I can see. Maybe even 70/30. I also like the Nikon rain coats on the big lenses. Pretty cool.
I agree with all of the comments here. I think your lighting is "ok" for a general portrait. It's not too contrasty and not too flat. It's what I think of as "sell-able" light... not too outrageous and better than the average shooter.

That's what I asked him in his rant post. If he is such an expert why isn't he out there preaching his opinions? Because it's too easy to do it here!
Thanks for the post! I agree with you totally.
After reading your post, Roman I checked out the Pro Photo website and saw who taught this seminar. Maybe you didn't agree with the instructor but your RANT is rather harsh. Here are the instructor's qualifications.

You've got to be kidding... it's a different camera with a two hundred dollar price difference! What a great thing for Nikon to do to offer more horsepower in an entry level DSLR. Why should an entry level camera not have as much resolution as a higher end camera? Now the beginner has more to...
