Show the BEST morning you've seen! (pics)

I wonder if any of you have seen an early monsoon morning, in Mumbai, India...

Sometimes Holland can be very beautifull. Especially at early cold
misty mornings like this.
I'd like to see some more nice early morning pictures, of moments
that wake you up immediately. I hope this subject is interesting
enough for some nice pictures!

This what the last sunrise my wife and I saw on our honeymoon trip to Bora Bora in 1999. It's too bad we can't wake up to these every morning.

And this was the sunset the night before.

They were both taken with the Canon Elph, APS version.

I was up a thursday, writing a report for school (java programming). Afternoon turned to evening, evening to night - and finally, when I was done, the sun was just getting up. So I ran onto the lawn on my bare feet, and got a picture.

Sorry about the noise, I guess my camera sucks a bit (dimage xi ;)

I only wake up for sunrise when I'm on vacation. These are from last weekend, off the beach in front of the Hilton Los Cabos. PS Elements' auto levels would have added a lot of blue; these are "as shot" but cropped and resized down for posting.

I've only got the Canon photostitcher and what comes in PSE. It seems that I really need to get a panorama tool if I want to do them properly.

Cheers

Ray
Thanks. What software have you tried? I use PanoTools via the
PTGui front end along with Enblend to do the grunt work and fine
tune the results.

VictorZ
I like that. I've not been able to take one panorama yet, where I
can get the sky to be even all over. I take the shots in manual
exposure, no polariser and still I get clearly visible junctions
between shots. Grrrrr!

Cheers

First, I feel for you on the homework...gets me every time. However, if I ever have the chance to walk out onto my front lawn, and see this...I will know I'm a lucky man. Nice shot, noise isn't bad at all...considering the sensor size. Also, when you have huge areas of graduated color changes, noise is most prevelant, so...ya.

Thanks guys! Thanks for your kind comments on my pictures, the great pictures you posted, and for continuing this subject. I really enjoyed seeing so many beautiful pictures from all over the world! It's very nice to see so much of the world through the eyes of good photographers. Many of you have the pleasure of seeing the day start in very beautiful ways and places. Looking forward to see more,

Here's another. 5:51 A.M. last Saturday morning on the Rappahannock River near Tappahannock, VA. I used the Z1 in sunset mode.

Ciao,
Here's one of my favorites from vacation last week:

Hi all,

I cannot see the OzRay pictures : only a red cross.
What happens ? I notice everybody can see them.
I tried with my usual browser (Firefox), and with IE6 : no way...
This happens sometimes, I don't know why...
Can you help me ?
Thanks
André
BTW, about the pictures I can see : nice subjects. Very good idea, Daniel.
I have no morning picture to show you at the moment.
Cheers
André

Ray,

Do you also set your white balance manually. I found that made a big difference for me. Manual focus, manual exposure, & manual white balance and a little luck ;)

Here's one from a recent kayaking trip to Baja, Mexico.
Thispanorama (4 images) was taken just before dawn looking out over
the Gulf of California (Sea of Cortez) while camped on one of the
islands off the coast near Loreto.

Ciao,
Very nice pics... Great capture of the fog.

Here's one from Canada. A lonely playground after a night's quiet rest, ready for another day of kids....
