Ok, so I post some in the Canon forum, but this is too good to be try. I work for Wolf/Ritz in DFW and last night I got sent to product training with some vendors (canon, nikon, fuji, minolta, pentax).
I was invited to have some one on one time with the trainers due to the fact that i am one of the top sales guys in the metroplex and blah blah blah.
Anyways, Fuji. S5. Yes this is correct, they are devolping a S5 film digital film hybrid camera right now. Yes that is correct, right now.
Wow you might say, what is it. Let me explain.
Built on the S2 technology, they are working on building a digital slr that also accepts film.
How, why. Because they can darn it! Any who the low down on it is this 18 megapixel. WHAT! 18? YES.
You take the image digital. AND THEN YOU CAN TRANSFER TO FILM.
AHHHHH! Ok, im sorry im shouting, this just excites the heck out of me.
When might this concept camera be released. Not aleast for another year and a half, but it out there and it is very real, and people have seen it and touched it and used it.
Talk Amoungest yourself.
