Hiking in Kananaskis region, Alberta Canada. The haze is from forest-fire smoke. First day out with the new G85.

The student as in your son? If so, major congrats.

Not one for flower shots but the first and the rose / fly have a little extra.

Hiking? Is that what you call that? Looks more like mountain climbing Everest. Great job bringing that image back for us sea level folks to enjoy!

These are great, 2, 3, 5 and 8 stand out for me.

Head and shoulders above move swan shots. Great symmetry and real beauty.

The second shot is lovely with great bokeh.

Nope - you'll have to tell me.

Very pretty.

Cool shot, the figures add a focal point. But I feel I want to see the top of the mount opposite.

I think I want to see a bit of sky at the top of the first. But the third is easily the best and a fine shot.

The forum site appears to be cropping the large version of the image. The submitted jpg shows plenty of sky above the peak opposite.

I believe venetian blinds were invented with you in mind. Great image. Another study of the quest for individuality in a mass produced world.
That's deep will - but well said. I'm struggling to figure out where wormy shot this....

Really crisp - especially #3.

Wonderful scenes - all of them. I think Europeans often forget just what an amazing mountain range the Alpines really are.

Those August leaves are already starting to look a touch autumnal!

I like the second shot, distorted geometry of the crane and surroundings with dramatic sky behind.

Depends on your objective - do you want the viewer to have to stop and look critically at the shot to determine what he is actually seeing (b&w) or be able with a quick glance to see these are London luxury condos (color)?
Actually pretty poor apartments in Singapore. But I take your point.
