Post your best m4/3 photo ever (1 pic)

Don't know if this is my best but it certainly was the most ambitious photoshoot to date. It took an extended team of people, a bunch of gear, and a fair amount time to pull off. It also required a decent amount of knowledge of lighting and photo editing.

I know that I posted a picture already. However, I took a better picture the other day so this is my new favorite m4/3s photo.

Believe it or not this is actually from video! This is 6 25 second 1080p @ 60 FPS videos combined to give you an image of a "True" Full Moon. I used DeepSkyStacker and Microsoft ICE to create this panoramic image.

Check out the full size of this one. I can't believe that my relatively short focal length telescope could capture this much detail in video.

Soooo hard to choose a favorite, but this is one which always makes me feel good when I see it (also, it sold on the first day of my latest show):

Can someone explain the easiest way to post an image? I used to do it several years ago but have forgotten how I did it. Perhaps my aging brain is at fault.

Thanks
How come nobody answered this easy one?

The method has changed since the old editor. Now use the three icons on the right when you are in this editor replying to or posting a reply.

Screen crop of top line, resized 2x, sharpened a little.
Screen crop of top line, resized 2x, sharpened a little.

The left one is used when for posting from the web, like from your storage in Photobucket, Flickr etc (needs the Direct Link option to cut and paste the actual photo address into the insert option window), the middle one will upload the image from your own computer, the right one from your DPReview Gallery.

To save space and time, usually is best to upload only what fits to the frame here, so a sensible resize to 560 pixels wide fits properly in this posting window. A full size image can be posted but by default it appears as 560 wide until the reader clicks on the "view original size/gallery page" option.

For most images I do downsize to 560 wide, re-sharpen to make it look a bit better and usually compress a bit more than usual as many times the absolute quality is not the issue. If posting say a 560 wide 100% crop to show some fault or detail, then is best to use a high quality jpeg and do not re-sharpen.

Be aware of course that you are "giving away" the image so anybody can download it and use it, so if wanting to protect your work only upload those small relatively useless-to-use 560 wide downsized images.

Being a live editor, when you create that photo link the image should appear in your text before you actually post it here. Many times the images gets corrupted on the upload, so delete the junk and try again. The second or third try usually gets it in properly.

Homework, try posting some image now in a reply to this message.....

S-AF for that one, though I'll probably use c-AF in the future depending on situation.
