Does anyone know of a Canon owners (esp. DSLR) club in/around NYC?

Anyone interested in forming one?

I'm a newbie to DSLRs and would love to meet to shoot and share tips & tricks, etc.

I live in NYC and have no idea if there are any camera clubs in the city but I know it would be a great resource to have...I even know of a few other Canon Photographers that would join.

I completely agree- if there isn't one already, there ought to be. I think it'd be alot of fun, and there's a lot of potential for other benefits-

is a bar and a burger and stuff restaurant. The back room has a revolving exhibition space (which I used before). I can make a reservation for up to 30 people for DSLR talk and beer.

I haven't been to Teddy's but I know the area and it sounds good to me. I'm in Mahattan (Inwood, aka "Upstate" Manhattan) but Billy's burgh is no problem for me.

Anyone else up for Williamsburgh?

I recently attended a digital seminar given by the NYC Canon Pro Markets Rep at a friends studio. It was a great seminar! Not sales hype just usable real world digital stuff about cameras, color management, image management and technology.

I would gladly attend another seminar.

If we form a NYC Canon digital group I'm sure he would do the same for us.
