SimpleTech 8 GB Type II CompactFlash

Pre-PMA 2004: SimpleTech has today announced the industry's highest capacity CompactFlash with an 8 GB Type II card using the Company's patented stacking technology. The Company also announced 2, 4 and 5 GB Type I cards and a significant increase to the write speed of its entire ProX line of CompactFlash cards. Samples of the new ProX CompactFlash Type I cards in 2, 4 and 5 GB capacities and the 8 GB type II cards are expected to ship during the first quarter of 2004, with production anticipated during the second quarter of 2004.

SimpleTech ProX SD Cards

SimpleTech has today announced SD (Secure Digital) versions of its ProX(TM) line of high performance cards. They are available in 256MB and 512MB formats and are available for immediate delivery. "ProX SD cards provide ultra-fast data connectivity for nearly every device using SD cards on the market," said Ken Roberts, director of product marketing for SimpleTech. Manufacturer's suggested retail prices are $159 for 256MB and $299 for 512MB.

SimpleTech TV Viewer

PMA 2003: SimpleTech has today announced the FlashLink PhotoZen. It is a TV photo image viewer, USB Flash memory card reader and PowerPoint presentation projector. PhotoZen displays digital photos of up to six megapixels from CompactFlash (Type I/Type II), MicroDrive, Sony Memory Stick, SD, MMC and SmartMedia cards.

SimpleTech 512MB SD Card

Today SimpleTech introduced a 512 MB SD Memory card. Featuring up to 10MB/s write speeds, this complements their original line up of SD cards in 32MB, 64MB, 128MB and 256MB capacities. It is available immediately for $400. SimpleTech have also announced the FlashLink USB Reader, the Bonzai USB Mini-Drive, 60GB SimpleDrive Deluxe External Storage Solution and the 5GB PC Card Hard Drive.

SimpleTech 640, 850 MB and 1 GB Flash CF

SimpleTech has today announced the availability of Compact Flash Type I cards up to 640 MB in capacity and Type II of 850 MB and 1 GB. This announcement comes hot on the heels of one made earlier this week about their new partnership with Hitachi Semiconductor. "We can take Hitachi's leading edge flash memory silicon, double its density with SimpleTech's patented IC Tower(TM) stacking technology, and offer the world's highest capacity CompactFlash cards.'' said SimpleTech's Chief Technical Officer Mark Moshayedi.
