Leica Q In-depth Review

The Leica Q’s melding of manual control with electronic assistance and combination of fixed-28mm F1.7 lens and 24MP full-frame sensor make for a responsive package capable of excellent photographs. But despite its $4250 asking price, we found a few other less likable characteristics over the course of our review. So is it worthy of that bright red dot? Find out in our full review. Read more

Just posted: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1 review updated with lens data

We've updated our Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1 review with an additional page of lens data, brought to you in collaboration with DxOMark. The RX1's headline feature may well be its 24MP full frame image sensor, but the fixed Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 35mm F2 lens is an equally crucial part of its imaging chain. We've added a full set of technical lens measurements to our review to illustrate how it performs, presented in our unique data widget. You can also see how it measures up against the best 35mm lenses available for SLRs.

Nikon D3200 in-depth review updated to include WU-1a Wi-Fi adapter

We've just updated our in-depth review of the Nikon D3200 entry-level DSLR to include a page of information about Nikon's WU-1a Wi-Fi adapter. The WU-1a arrived in office as we were preparing the review for publication so we've spent the past 48 hours using it, before adding it to the review. The WU-1a allows both wireless image transfer to a an Android smartphone or tablet, or to use the device as a remote shutter trigger (release of an iOS version is planned for fall 2012). Click here to read our updated 21-page review.

Just posted: Our updated in-depth review of the Fujifilm FinePix X100

Just Posted: our revised Fujifilm X100 review. Amongst the changes listed in Fujifilm's 1.10 firmware update for the FinePix X100 were several that addressed issues raised in our original in-depth review. To reflect this, we have gone back into the studio and re-tested the X100 to see just how much difference the changes make. Does the update allow the X100 to achieve its obvious potential as a high-quality luxury compact camera, or is it still too quirky to earn our outright recommendation? Read our extensively updated review to find out.

Canon G12 test images added to group test

Just Posted: Canon PowerShot G12 test samples as part of our Enthusiast Group Test. The G12 didn't arrive in time to be included in the test itself but we've now had a chance to take it into the studio and shoot our standard comparison shots. The images have been added to our comparison tools and have been included in the 'compared to...' and noise test pages (you can, of course, still include competitors such as Samsung's EX1/TL500 if you prefer).
