DxO has announced PhotoLab 5 and FilmPack 6. The updated applications offer new features, better performance and many improvements. Both applications also support Fujifilm X-Trans sensors, which is a first for DxO.

DxO Labs announced bankruptcy a few months back, but with a silver-lining: its flagship desktop software, Photolab, would receive a free update by summer. The company also announced that the Nik Software Collection would receive its first update since 2017. As of today, both promises have been fulfilled.

It's back! DxO is acquiring Nik Collection and will continue to develop the software as Photoshop and Lightroom plug-ins, and also plans to incorporate Nik technology into its own editing software.

DxO has announced version 3.0 of the iOS app for its 'One' connected camera. It adds support for multi-camera Facebook Live broadcasting and both time-lapse still and video capture. Android users will be pleased to hear that a One for their platform is on the way, as well. Several new accessories are available, including a battery pack.
OnePlus says the French imaging software company has "years of imaging experience and expertise" but does not specify what the cooperation will exactly entail.
With an overall score of 90, the HTC U11 is the highest-rated smartphone camera ever tested by DxO and has taken the top-spot in the DxOMark Mobile ranking from the Google Pixel.
