Ricoh GXR/S10 24-72mm
Panasonic LX3
3.6 MB JPEG (3648 x 2736)
4.3 MB JPEG (3648 x 2736)

The Panasonic's pixel sharpness and detail is not quite as good as the Canon G11's but it's still visibly ahead of the Ricoh S10. Again, default contrast and saturation are also higher which helps bringing out a little more of the low contrast detail. Overall the Ricoh images looks cleaner with less grain but also visibly softer which is due to slightly lower default sharpening and higher levels of detail-smearing noise reduction.
