Below you will find a studio comparison between the Panasonic DMC-FZ5 and the Panasonic DMC-FZ20 at ISO 400.

Again, the differences are so marginal that I'd challenge anyone to say which camera produced which result. The differences in noise are slight, but I actually prefer the more 'grain like' (luminance noise) result from the FZ5 to the slightly blotchier (chroma noise) FZ20 image. But in truth at normal print sizes you'd not be able to tell these two cameras apart.
