The FinePix F10 set the standard for low noise, high resolution results when it was launched, and it still stands up well against the SP-310, despite the extra million pixels in the Olympus image. That said, there's not enough difference here to show in a standard print, though again the SP-310's reds look a little on the orange side. Overall though, the SP-310 is impressive, even if the results are a touch over-sharpened.
