Olympus E-620 (RAW) vs. Panasonic DMC-G1

Olympus E-620
Panasonic DMC-G1
4.8 MB JPEG (4032 x 3024)
3.8 MB JPEG (4000 x 3000)

The difference between the G1 and E-620, which it's fair to assume have fairly closely related sensors, is dramatic. While it appears that the E-620 has relatively stong anti-aliasing filter, Panasonic has tended to place very weak anti-aliasing filters on its DSLRs. It appears to have followed the same practise with the G1 and the results are plain to see.
