Olympus E-520
Sony DSLR-A350

5.9 MB (3648 x 2736)
4.0 MB JPEG (4592 x 3056)

Again, there's not a lot to call between the 14 megapixel A350 and the Olympus 10 megapixel offering. The Sony images are a touch softer but not to the extent that you'd notice, were they not placed side-by-side. There's essentially no difference in terms of the amount of detail being conveyed in the JPEGs, irrespective of pixel counts.
