Due the lack of optical image stabilization in low light the Motorola X Style has to use higher ISOs than its competitors that use such as system. In combination with fairly strong noise reduction this leads to a noticeable loss of detail and some noise 'clumping', especially in the shadow areas of the frame.

On the plus side however, both luminance and chroma noise are well under control and most of the frame still shows decent edge detail. It's also worth remembering that thanks to the Moto's large output size any imperfections will be averaged out to a larger degree when images are viewed at smaller sizes, for example on the web or at screen size.
