Record mode display
Here you can see an example of the live preview image on the LCD just prior to taking a shot, overlaid over the live view image are the current camera settings. In this example we have:
Flash mode (cancelled), Image quality (Super Fine), Frames remaining (32), Focus mode (Macro), Battery status (two thirds).
|Half-pressing the shutter release causes the cameras autofocus and metering systems to lock, a steady green lamp beside the viewfinder and a green dot on the screen indicates a good AF lock.||After fully depressing the shutter release a brief review image is shown. This is shown for approximately 1.5 seconds.|
Play mode display
|Switching to play mode immediately displays the last image taken. Use the left and right buttons to browse through images. Kudos to Kyocera, browsing images is VERY fast.||Pressing the up or down button overlays a page of information including the full filename, size, date & time, DPOF status, shutter speed, aperture and exposure compensation.|
|Pressing the telephoto zoom button magnifies the current image 2x, you can use the 4-way controller to scroll around the magnified view.|
To switch to thumbnail (or 'Multi') view you have to press the menu button then select multi from the menu. The camera displays images in a 3 x 2 grid.
