Good coating and good colours. Still some purple fringes when strongly against the light with branches. Shoot in RAW and the software will remove that. Much better lens to shoot against the light compared to old AIS lenses because of the good lens coating. Not a trouble free lens. One needs to learn the limitations and adjust the shooting approach accordingly. (Other lenses require less of that!)
