Voigtlander 90mm F3.5 APO-Lanthar SL II

I would describe my Voigtlander 90 SL as being nearly APO since occasional color fringing can be forced. Nevertheless, CA with the 90 is never obtrusive, only occurs under extreme contrast lighting and doesn't detract from the lenses' fine IQ. The Voigtlander 125, f/2.5 Lanthar is a true APO optic but is much more expensive. I use my 90mm Lanthar on Nikon D300S and D700 bodies and after 15+ years the lens retains it's original fine build quality and smooth focusing action. Images are ...

I have used this lens on my Nikon D700 for the last year. Image quality is nothing short of superb. It is very well built using quality materials. This lens produces beautiful bokeh making it an excellent outdoor portrait lens. Landscapes (particularly those with water) are on par with ones I used to take with my Hasselblad and a Zeiss lens. I have been completely satisfied with this lens. It produces sharp, life-like images...that are second to none. Problems: No problems have been noted.
