Today I just tried mounting Canon EF-S 24mm F2.8, 10-22mm, and 55-250mm lenses on the MC-11 but all of them don't seem to fit. But 40mm f2.8 fit and worked fine as for other EF lenses. But then I tried them on the Metabones IV and they all fit and worked. They all just seem not able to mount on the MC-11 is that what the MC-11 was designed?

Hello all,  I'm visiting from m43-land because I just ordered a Nikon D5500, body only, for an amazing price. I have been shooting m43 since 2009 and in general am very pleased with the format, but lately I've been thinking about looking at an APS-C dslr, and couldn't pass this one up. I will be borrowing a friend's lens to see if I want to keep the camera or not. If I do,  I will be lens shopping. I would like to ask for input/opinions on which lens(es) might suit my preferences...

Greetings all, I guess just as many beginners in photography, me too I'm very excited learning about photography and as a beginner I guess people would like to own all the possible lenses out there :-) I have a questions in regards to Nikkor Micro 40mm F2.8G or Nikkor Micro 60mm F2.8G. I currently own the Prime Lens 50mm F1.8G and I'm happy with the images I'm being able to produce.  I also own the basic 18-55 as well as Nikkor 55-200-VR Lens. Being so excited with the images I'm producing...

Hi everyone, am an owner of the Canon rebel SL1(100D) and have been using the kit lens 18-55m f3.5-5.6 to shoot. The camera is a wonderful travel camera but am thinking of buying some 2 new lenses to add some variety and would like to seek your advice.  I would like to get 2 more lenses, ideally affordable options: 1) street/walkabout lenses to add some variety: canon 35mm f2 vs canon 40mm f2.8 pancake. did considered the nifty-fifty 50mm f1.8 but think it would be abit too tight on the crop...

I asked a few weeks ago about lenses longer than 50mm for shooting my erratically moving children, specifically the 70mm and 77mm, as I am trying to get further reach with better subject isolation that what I can get out of my current wider, but fast, end of the spectrum lenses (Sigma 30mm f1.4, da 35mm f2.8, da 40mm f2.8). I was all set on the fa 77mm, but I just saw a good deal on the da 200mm. I could get a used 70mm and 200mm for just a little more than a new fa 77mm. I never shoot in...

I am quite an amateur and still learning the tricks.I am having Canon 600d with 18-55mm and 55-250mm and planning to buy my first prime lens.I have shortlisted canon 24mm f2.8 stm, 40mm f2.8 stm and 50mm f1.8 keeping in mind the short budget.I am not concerned about build quality as I keep my lenses in fairly good condition. Also I know that 50mm is better suited for portrait and 24mm being wider suits landscape more. However, I am not into portraits much nor intend to shoot other than few...

I had no idea how lucky i was with my first few lenses for my IR modified A7R (590nm modification). In retrospect it seems the first lenses i bought are exceptionally well suited to an A7R IR ... these lenses are the Olympus OM Zuiko 24mm, CV 40mm heliar, and Contax G 90mm.  Since then I have experimented and failed with CV 15mm, Sony FE 28mm ... hotspots. Now, trying the widely acclaimed Zeiss Distagon 28mm 2.8 C/Y. This lens is generally celebrated for being very sharp. And for $250 seems...

Hi, I'm new here and relatively new in photography; I would like your opinion on which lens I could buy next. I've been using my canon T4i since 2013, before that i used a couple unremarkable point and shoot cameras. Trying to learn what i enjoy the most in photography, my original plan was getting an all around lens with the biggest focal range i could find, and use it for a while to see what range I prefer. In my first weeks I sold the kit lens and got a canon 18-200mm IS. After a couple of...
