Currently, I'm using nex5t with tamron 18-200mm superzoom and I've been quite satisfied with their results for a very long time. But recently, I've been exposed at lots of super sharp results from mighty A7 series, and now I'm looking for some improvement. I know superzooms are not suppose to do a super sharp job but I can't give up wide range zoom capability because I'm a believer of the one and the only camera. Hi, I am beginner / novice photographer and I am looking to step up (away from point & shoots). I was gifted a Sony Alpha A5100 (body only) and I am looking for a good/versatile zoom lens with wide range zoom & focal lengths ("all in one"). Hi, what is the fastest AF zoom e-lens available? I've been doing lots of reading and still not sure which one to buy. It's good to have a versatile all-in-one package but I guess it's too much to ask. I know that the 'original' 18-200 spec&result wise is...
hello I was wondering if anyone who has a nex-6 and the tamron lens mentioned above is having an issue with the lens where you will lose aperture control? the f-stop is blank on the screen and you have to to turn the camera on and off to get it back. it appears to be when I zoom in and out where the lens will have a brain fart based on the range and lose aperture control. its not all the time but it gets annoying have to shut the camera off to "fix" the issue. I have sent it out for service...
