Hi everyone, I'm Shooting on a 60D at the moment and have imho some good apsc lenses (Sigma 18-35, Tamron 17-50, EF-S 10-18) and two ff lenses (50mm, 70-300 II). Now I'm thinking about moving on to a R/RP and was looking around for some sample images of the R or RP with EF-S or third party lenses in the crop mode. Does anyone know where I might find some? Would be perfect to get the raw or SOOC Jpgs to have a look.  I know that the crop will lead to a MP drop, but nevertheless would be cool...

I'm just nailed with many confusions on my head that Which lens is like good for Documentary and street Photography I have Nikon D7200 and D5600 and planning to buy a moderate fast lens for general  purpose as well as very sharp.I can't afford Sigma 18-35 as because I'm a student but as I'm working as freelancer it may take too much time to get that. As these days Apsc has 24MP is it good for old lens like Sigma 17-50. Need help thanks in advance.

Last weekend I had a chance to try (used) Tamron 17-50 f2.8 with VC on my M5 with the adapter, and I could not get a good autofocus on the 50mm side. (at 17mm it worked fine, though a bit slow). It failed to lock focus about 80% of the time. Note that I turned off the continuous auto focus and used One Shot focus. I did try another (also used) lens of the same model, with similar result. I also have a Tamron 28-75 f2.8 non-VC that I used on my 6D and it work just fine on my M5. Has anyone...

I have a Tamron SP AF 17 - 50 mm F/2.8 XR Di II VC LD for my Canon 60D. I absolutely love the picture quality. It's amazing. But shortly after I bought it, the lens began throwing the following error: Err 01: Communications between the camera and lens is faulty. Clean the lens contacts. I tried everything and finally called up the Tamron guys (the lens was still in Warranty then). I'd purchased this product from http://www.digitalrev.com/ and they said they'd cover any repair cost. The Tamron...

I own a Nikon D7200 with a Nikon 18-105 f/3.5-5.6 VR and Nikon 35 mm f/1.8 lens. I'm looking for a good upgrade for my old 18-105 lens to supplement my use of the 35 mm. When using the 35 mm I have to get very close to people, which sometimes ruins the situation that I would like to capture. I would like to have a good lens that makes me able steps backwards and be more observable. I hope you understand. I've been looking at the less expensive Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 with VR/VC. I think it could...

I own a Nikon D7200 with a Nikon 18-105 f/3.5-5.6 VR and Nikon 35 mm f/1.8 lens. The 18-105 mm is from my old D5000 camera. After I bought the 35 mm prime lens it has been my primary lens. I almost never use the zoom lens except from situations where I really needs to zoom (> 70 mm). The 35 mm is sharper and has a much better aperture. Therefore I tend to mount this prims lens instead of my old 18-105 mm lens for allround situations. Family events (both in- and outdoor), kids, people...

Hello all. I have a Nikon D7200, which I use for wildlife and landscape photographer, mostly. I find myself either at the short or really long end when shooting as a result. I have a Nikon 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 and a Nikon 70-300 f/4.5-5.6G for landscape and wildlife respectively. And I am very happy with these two. I also have a Nikon 35mm f1.8, which I got as my very first lens and used for overall walking around.  Lately I have been asked to photograph events (birthday parties, office...

Hi, I've spent the last few days reading endless reviews and am seeking some guidance. I currently have a Nikon D5100, Sigma 10-20, Nikon 18-105, Nikon 50 f/1.8, Nikon 70-300. Lee 100mm system. Manfrotto 190CXPro3. I'm a constantly learning enthusiast into Landscape & family & club competitions. Considering selling the 10-20 to fund a Tokina 11-20 f/2.8 (I love UWA and would like to dabble with some occasional astrophotography). & upgrade to the D7200 with perhaps a Sigma/Tamron 17-50 f2.8 or...

First time poster, long time browser. I'm looking to buy a 70d soon, I have a max budget of around £700 ($1,050). I had planned on purchasing the 70d with the 18-135mm IS STM kit lens as buyers seemed happy with it and I liked the idea of a longer focal range on a walk about and would probably use the auto focus function with video from time to time. The thing that puts me off is the poor image quality of my 18-55mm IS kit lens (on 550d) and DXO Mark scoring the 18-135mm STM ever so slightly...
