Hello, I am trying to pair my Samsung s5 phone with my A99 to get the GPS info. But the connection doesn't work. Other Bluetooth devices work without any problem on my phone. Also I can connect the A99 to my tablet and my pc, so Bluetooth is working on both but not together. Has anyone an idea of what could be wrong. Greetings Leon. --http://www.pictureshow.nl/
Hi, I am using Sony A99, i had tried Minolta 50 1.7 but i want option to replace it, there are many m42 mount vintage lenses but this time i want an auto focus lens. Like Sigma 50mm Art is way too expensive, I need a economic one which can deliver best. I went through some options and stick a bit on Minolta 50 1.4 what you guys suggest? experience and suggestions are welcome. --RegardsAfzal KhanKathmandu, Nepal
Hi, I just bought a used Pentacon 2.8/135mm Bokeh monster m42 adapted for my Sony A99, anyone used this lens before need some review about pros and cons of the lens? also does it take filter? if yes which mm i didn't saw any mark at lens? --RegardsAfzal KhanKathmandu, Nepal
I have a konica Minolta 17-35 2.8-4 that I im not satisfied with... That lens is not sharp at 35mm and f4 it has soft corners both at 35mm and at 17mm (at least here in the middle its very sharp and usable at f4.5) and it looses too much light (at 35mm the difference between f4 and f4.5 its almost zero and only f5 really ends the vignetting).Things start to sharpen until at f7.1 becomes acceptable in the corners and center and only at f11 is sharp all over. It has noticeable distortion too...
Looking for one to work with my A99 and hopefully A6000. Looking to set up for a mountainbike race at a set place, and capture everyone coming past via a motion sensor.. and a wireless flash. I have never used one, looking for suggestions ? While i roam the track with the other camera
Hi friends, I am currently using A99 and wants to buy a decent tele photo for it, so went through many Minolta lenses in review and find Minolta 100-300 APO is best for the bug. There is 2 versions APO D and Non D, which i should buy? why and why not? help me to decide with your experience. Also i find Non D quite cheap in ebay which D version is a bit costly. --RegardsAfzal KhanKathmandu, Nepal

Ok, i've got an a99v since 2015. Started with my 24-85/3.5-4.5 and recently bought a 24-105/3.5-4.5. the 24-105 is a bit cooler, but still good colors, nothing like Tamron. Since I've been less than happy with the low light performance of the kit (inexact af, grain) I just got the Minolta 50/1.4. Today I took some test snaps at 24MP RAW+JPEG with both lenses. Same scene, same time of day, same focal length, same exposure. No UV filter on either lens. After looking at both raw and jpeg I...
When selecting focus area - flexible spot, how do I then change the size of flexible spot? Can you switch between small, medium and large on the a99 mk2? The joystick moves the flexible spot around. when i press the the joystick, it moves the spot back to the centre. The default spot is small. I assume you must be able to change it to medium or large. As the camera isn't able to focus on such a small spot easily. I have searched for the answer, but am only able to find threads for a7 on...
