I have a NEX-5 and I'm now thinking about upgrading to a A6300, but I am still not sure. I considered a Canon 80D first, but honestly I will mostly bring my camera with me on travels and for that I need it to be on the smaller side, otherwise I'll just end up leaving it in my suitcase. I also want to shoot video, is this camera good enough or should I consider the Lumix GH4 instead? So for travel photography + video, would the A6300 be a good choice? And lenses- these are the ones I have...
I'm looking for a walking-around, street photography camera. My workhorse is a Canon 1Dx with a slate of lenses, but it's a beast. It's too huge to take with me on trips, and it's too heavy even to want to take with me around town. I want something light and easy to carry, something that takes great shots, with a nice, sharp prime as my standard lens. My last attempt, which I never really loved, was a Sony NEX-5. I bought it with the Zeiss 24/1.8 lens, and in spite of the lens being...
I'm stacking photos through a bellows and extension tubes in 3 shot bursts but the camera randomly decides whether to store as portrait or landscape, even within a 3 shot burst. Is there a way to fix the orientation? Even if I change them via photo-editing to the same orientation the stacking programme still rejects them
Hey guys, I'm relatively new to full-frame photography. I came from a Sony NEX-5T with cropped sensor lenses, to an A7 (I know it's slightly old now) My lenses I am currently using: SEL5018 SEL30M35 SEL1855 and a Sigma 30mm prime lens (entry level for the NEX-5) Would it be better for me to upgrade my current NEX-5 lenses to the FE types? Would I get a noticable performance upgrade? Or would I be wasting cash for not very much difference? I'm currently using the cropped sensor mode on the A7...

I want to take photos like these http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--6w27nZrf--/tlilcfsqoiicopcresxs.jpg (by Liam Wong) http://i.imgur.com/Zru1O0U.jpg (by Dan Williams, aka zerotwelve) I understand that there is a lot of photo editing in this type of photos, I do similar type of work professionally but I am not familiar with photography hardware at all. I would prefer to buy used but from a higher level equipment. What would be the natural step for me?

Hi everyone, Im going for a trip soon and looking for a better way to get around with my NEX5 camera. Im carrying it with 35mm and a 16-50mm lens Since most of the day I'll be hiking around and almost always with a bag on me, I thought it would be best if I'll get the Peak design clip and attach it on my shoulder straps. Then I got hungry for the accessories and decided to get a tripod too. I used to have the joby gorilla pod which is flexible and its great when going hiking. Its very...

Have just got back from once in a lifetime 4 month trip in South America. 1/.Have taken over 5000 pics. with my Sony NEX-5. Unfortunately during trip blue sky or similar light background pics commenced showing up several spots which could not be remedied by lense cleaning. Advice on best program/ procedure to rectify these pictures would be appreciated. 2/. Upon submittal of Camera for service I have been advised sensor is damaged and it would be best to upgrade to new camera. I liked the...
