Hi Everyone, Im having very hard time trying to decide if I should buy a Ad200 or ad300, Apart of the output different, I'm trying to understand if the quality of light of ad200 is as good as the ad300 while using it in a softbox, Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, about those 2 flashes, Thanks

Hello, Just a very general question for someone who wants to learn more about photography and camera gears. I understand that there's no substitute for taking lots of pictures, studying from others, books and courses. If a person has gone thru the basic and reached a stage to really get into the tool/camera and lenses with limited budget (around USD 1500 to 2000) , what is the recommendation of cameras to try? The purpose is to build up a strong base on camera gears to use in most genres...
New guy here, photo tyro with a100 and a200, as well as a "pile" of glass. Purchased this adapter recently. It was sold as an a-mount to MC/MD adapter. It is not. It definitely fits my a-mount cameras, but an MC lens I have doesn't fit on it. It appears to have been made by Minolta. Any ideas? These were grab shots at 210mm handheld. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! ;) --Zorba"The Veiled Male"
I'm looking to add to my lense collection. Looking to add a long range lense, I'm just a hobbiest myself but still looking to get the best lense. Id like help selecting one preferably with auto focus and manual focus. Not looking to buy new, my niece is a pro photographer and uses this site. If anyone that sees my message has a good one or can point me in the right direction. Thanks
Hi all, I'm hoping someone can offer me some advice about focus. Since moving to a NEX-6 to an a7RIII I've never been happy with focussing on anything further than a couple of feet, maybe up to a few meters. Up close is super sharp but anything which is essentially set to infinity seems to lack sharpness, and as I bought the camera with landscapes in mind it's starting to get me down. The lens is a Tamron 28-75. To begin with I used single shot AF, fucussing in the middle distance which I...
Hi everyone, I like photographing but clearly I’m not an expert, I’m actually just starting. Decide to spend some money and buy a decent camera for a beginner. My first and only dslr I worked it so far it’s a Sony a200, old but really like her. Trying to decide in between 3 diferente brands more or less same prices as qualities. Any suggestions? Until two weeks ago I was using an A200 with a Minolta AF 50mm f/1.7. I noticed my pictures were kind of soft and had low contrast, so I thought the 10Mp sensor was not providing enough detail. I sold the A200 and got an A77ii. I love how responsive it is. However, if I use the same 50mm 1.7 I seem to experience AF problems and low contrast. I have supposedly micro-adjusted the lens, but still, it seems to be not that good auto focusing. I have seen pictures taken with the same lens and body...
I have got a Sony a200 dslr and want to buy a budget zoom lens (like Sigma 70-300mmf/4-5.6 DG Macro) however since the camera has become old, I am also thinking to get a new camera altogether. Should I buy a zoom lens for existing camera or go for a new camera altogether plus lens combo. I will be going for a trip to Singapore and hence want to capture some good pictures. My budget for a new camera is at max INR 50000 (USD 775). Thanks in advance, DC
