Im in the market for a full frame camera that's good at astrophotography and nightscapes.  Been looking at the Nikon D800, Sony A7 ii and Sony A7R ii. do I need the extra number of MP? I'm not a professional, just getting into all this but would like a camera that's very good at what it does. Budget is around £1300 for the body + lens. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all. Has anybody have had problems with the Godox X1T-S 2.4G? I need help. Recently i bought a Godox AD200pro and a Godox X1T-S so i can work with my Sony a6000 and when the product arrived I made sure to read the manuals and charged the godox ad200pro battery and put batteries in the godox x1t-s. Then I noticed that when I mount the transmitter on my camera the transmitter buttons stop responding and i cannot change anything on it even though it works perfectly when not mounted. I...

I am having one 100 400 GM lens, which I normally use for wild life shooting. I like to use a 2X converter with this lens. Will it work well ? Anybody having practical experience of this ?. My camera body is alpha 7 iii. Also does the autofocus works with this converter?

Hey, Does anyone have experience with Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 on Sony A7II? The lens has no inbuilt IS. I am thinking of getting the lens but concerning image stability on A7II, especially at 180 focal length. It seems no problem with A7III. Thank you in advance.

I need your help and advice! Little back story: I had a DSLR (Canon 2Ti ) for 6 years and brought it all around the world with me from 2013-2019. Near the latter years of 2018, I got the iPhone 8 and the improvement of photo quality resulted in me using my phone more. Also, the Canon at that stage was pretty behind in terms of features, so the convenience of my phone resulted in me using it more and my camera-less. I thought perhaps if I got a new camera, that was smaller it could make me...

So I recently purchased a used A7ii that almost immediately gave me the dreaded error "camera error turn power off then on". I found that this could be fixed by bumping the camera to realign the visibly crooked sensor. I am now trying to decide whether to keep this body or return it and buy another. I worry that any other used camera could have this issue, and a new one is quite a bit more expensive.  My questions is; have people who've experienced this issue found it to be chronic, and/or...

Hi all, I have used a6000 for 4 years. Now I have SEL 18 135, Rokkor 58 1.2 and Samyang 85 1.4MF. Mostly I take portrait photos.  I am happy with the camera except the low light performance.  From the EXIF of pictures being captured, I think I will not use ISO exceeding 12800.  I am wondering which camera I should buy for low light performance. I am just a photography hobbyist. I have found that a6400 is a good camera. If upgrading from a6000, I can use all the lenses I have. In case of...

What is the best camera for low-light photography? I am relatively new to high-end photography and want to photograph caves. Something in the $1000-$1500 range, probably mirrorless. Sony A6600? A7 II? Recommendations?
