https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MROWZ66/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_SC9FDbMV46248 Would this flash be of any use for me? I was thinking about it for doing portraits and indoor shots, but I'm not sure if this is the best way of going about this, but I've noticed some of my portraits and indoor shots are poorly lit on my 50mm 1.8, I feel they could use a bit more front lighting especially. Is this a decent unit? I'm looking at cheap right now in order to try it out. I got the idea today while...

I am buying a Sony alpha A7 ii camera and I can´t decide which lens to get with it. I want it mainly for photography not videos. I´m planning of taking travel couple photos and lanscapes mainly. I want a sharp and good quality lens that is not very expensive, under 900 would be great. Any advice/recommendations?

Hi there , I was wondering if Rode VideoMicro is decent enough for indoor live concert. My camera is Sony A7ll. I don’t need excellent sound quality but something better than the built-in mic. Thank you.

Just added my first full frame, a sony a7 iii, to my shelf and was wondering if anyone wanted to post their favorite legacy glass they’ve adapted? I’m aiming for shorter focal lengths not breaching 50mm, apertures slower than 1.4 are totally fine too!  eyeballing a canon 50 FD 1.4 since adapting that and that lens looks cheap and fun. Thanks for looking!

Hi, I just transitioned from olympus E-M10 to the Sony alpha 7II. I shoot lots of lanscapes or street photos where I put myself in the frame to add a bit of life. However I have been having issues with the A7II I just got. What I would usually do with my Oly was I would either use the time lapse function with my camera on a tripod, which would then just shoot every second and I'd just walk around in the frame, posse, etc ;-) or use the smarthone app as a remote control, allowing me to tap an...

Hi! Seeking advice here. Some time ago I switched from Canon to Sony A7III. I am a 35/85 shooter (family portraits, weddings and business events) but due to budget I settled for Sonys 28/f2 instead of 35 + 85/f1,8. I decided not to sell my Canon travel set (Canon M6 + 22mm + 50mm + adapter) then but right now i need a second body for my work and I calculated that this set is worth around 1000€.My question is: what would be the most reasonable second body option for around 1k €?At the moment I...

So I have been considering changing over to Sony for a while now. Being a hobby photographer I dont really mind not having the newest gear and the A7 III is already a well reviewed camera. So now that the A7 IV has been announced do you think there will be a price drop for the III? How much did the II drop when the III came out? Or am I just getting my hopes up too much?

Hello guys, I normally shoot with manual lenses. Recently I was on a shoot where we shot with two Sony cameras and a mixed set of manual and AF lenses. There I discovered that my a7ii won't autofocus. All other lens controls work and the lenses autofocus does work on the other camera as well. The camera takes pictures normally otherwise and if I set the camera to manual focus the focus by wire of the lens does work and even activates the automatic focus-zoom. The camera has been dropped on...

Hi there, Recently, I've bought a used Metabeones IV for my Sony A7m2. It works great but slightly tight to mount the adapter comparing to E-mount lenes. Is it normal? Thank you.
