I'm just watching a video again from Gerald Undone with regards to setting up a Ninja 5 with a Sony A6400. I'll be honest I'm just starting out. I'm even open to any online reference material you can source. I'm also going to say sorry, since a lot of this technically is over my head.  1) Are there settings in the A6400 I should configure, for the best quality and also most flexible data, that I send from the camera to the Ninja 5. If so what would they be? 2) Not sure if I should turn...

Currently I'm mainly shooting pups in our living room using a bounce flash. I set the A6400 in P mode, the Godox TT685s to TTL and noticed that the photos were quite dark. Exposure compensation on both the flash and the camera didn't make any difference. The histograms showed that non of the graphs (white, red, green, blue) got further to the right than about two thirds of the way. Suddenly I noticed that all images had an ISO value of 200. I had set the auto ISO range to 100-400. Tonight I...

After mobile and camera is paired and connected, do I have to do anything activily to transfer the gps position every time I'm about to take a photo ? Or does it happens automaticaly as long as camera phone are connected through bluethoot ? Perhpas it read it as I take the picture ? I'm looking at the a6400. Kind regards

Is there any custom firmware for the Sony a6400 that allows it to record 2.7K? Preferably for free if it costs something, preferably not over € 20. Thanks in advance :D LG, Jakob

I'm looking at buying my first ND filters and want to get as few as possible to start with for my shooting scenario, and because I think I want the expensive ones. Current testing the a6400 (and maybe the a6600) with the 16-55G and 70-350G.  Both are 67mm threads. My hypothesis is that two would be the best to start with; a 3 and 6 stop. The issue is that in the sunlight, I can't leverage the lenses fully and get that bokeh you crazy kids all love so much since I can't put the f-stop low...

I picked up this flash along with my A6400, my first e mount body. My only complaint with the flash is the very tight fit on shoe, it’s quite difficult to get on or off. Does anyone have tips on making this process a bit easier?

Hello everyone, I am a very amateur hobbiest at best. I upgraded from a canon t2i about 8 months ago to a Sony a6400. I have a Sigma 100-400 lens that I either am not thrilled with, OR I am not using it well... I have a set of images taken on a tripod with OS turned off and a 2 second shutter delay. The subject is a baby hawk in the nest with little movement. I am about 30-50 feet away from the subject. While I know I cannot really expect a professional level photo in terms of crispness etc,...

Hi, i have been using a sony a6000 with sony 200-600 lens for a while for wildlife photography. i would like to upgrade my camera body but have difficulty on deciding which camera to buy. i went through a lot of articles online even in dpreview and narrowed down the options to A7riii/a6600/a6400. it would be great if you all could help me out to decide. 1-  i ruled out a7iii because i crop a lot in post processing 2- with the budget i have, a9 or other high end options are out of my league....

Hi guys, first post here. I just got a Sony a6400 and I am really new to camera gear so bear with me please. I live in a PAL country. However, I switched my recording format to NTSC in order to be able to shoot in 24 fps. The problem is, when I go to movie mode and press record, I receive a pop up message saying "Recording is unavailable in this movie because format is set to NTSC. Format?" I don't understand why. I tried to switch my area settings to the US (which uses NTSC) but the problem...
