It was my first Interchangeable Lens Camera At first i thought i was dissapointed about the image quality of this product and with the kit lens, but... it because i was shooting with "AUTO" every time So, i start to "learn basic photography" like how to adjust the aperture, ISO, focal length, etc via Youtube. I also did a learning from each review and "how to" about this product in youtube. And guess what?? Now, i really appreciate this camera. This camera didn't stop to amaze me with every ...

I´ve got this camera in September of this year, and it is also the 1st time i bought a mirrorless camera, because in the past i have only owned DSLR´s. I bought this camera in the silver color in 2nd hand, with about 2200 shots taken and i paid about 325€/350$ for the camera with the kit lens 16-50mm, including all accessories and original box etc. For me it was a excellent deal, since the price of a new one with the kit lens here, is about 700$.- In terms of design of the camera i like it ...

I bought my Sony Alpha A6000 a few weeks ago from a wonderful member here on DPR. Prior to this, I have owned a slew of Point and Shoots, as well as DSLR cameras; this would be my first mirrorless. I do not have any E Mount lenses; rather, this review is more about the ergonomics, functionality, and ease of use with third-party lenses (and adapters). Ergonomics and body: The A6000 is a small camera. Meaning, that for a interchangeable lens model, this camera has a really small footprint, and ...

I have this camera since xmas 2015 and love it except the kit lenses aren't that great.  They are so so but had to start somewhere.  The camera does not focus well.  Colors produced by this camera is unbelievable.  Panorama sometimes works sometimes not, very frustrating at time. The 55-210m lens is good and the burst mode is great.  The M mode is a plus, set it, and recall especially for HDR shots.

I've only had this little guy for about a week but I love it!  I was looking for a good 'walking around' camera that weighed less that my DSLR but I wanted quality and interchangeable lenses.  As I don't do much video, the A6000 rather than the A6300 seemed like a good choice.  I got it with the Zeis 16-70 F4 (24 to 105 F6 equivalent) and it seems to be just perfect.  It handles well (although I wish they'd switched positions on the two main dials), focusing is easy, the electronic ...

Balancing image quality, functionality, size, and price I really do think this is the best. I've tried quite a few cameras and am still so happy with this camera half-a-year on. When I shot with DSLRs, I would rarely take them with me and take my RX100 II instead. Now, I rarely take out the RX100 II and don't mind taking the A6000 around. I have a Nikon D600 as well and use that when I shoot events in low-light with an 80-200 f/2.8 but for everything else the A6000 is great. To address the ...

a major issue with macro shots is the depth of field. the A6000's available 30 mm macro gives very good depth of field since the shorter the focal leangth the greater the depth of field. The available 30 mm macro gives fine photos with good depth of field. vinegar weed
