At the present price of $450, I have very little to complain about. Great image quality, fast operation, and accurate AF .  Does it replace my Nikons? Not yet as the battery life can't compare and "E-Mount system" is not as complete. That said, it does things that my Nikons struggle to do with just as good image quality. Best of all, I can use all my Nikon glass with this baby camera and manually focus my fast primes more consistently that my D7000 focuses. Highly recommended.

The camera is quick and has an excellent sensor and a great value for the money; however three things go against it for me. 1. The lenses are just too huge except for the kit lens which I found to be mediocre 2. I don't like the complexity of the menu system 3. I don't like the way Sony is so heavy handed on NR, even some is apparent in raw files

Got a new a6000 with the 16-50 kit lens and the Sony 55-210 lens and I am really pleased with the result. The 16-50mm kit lens is not as bad as I had thought it would be and the 55-210mm exceeded my expectations. I have a Canon 5D Mk II with a Canon 24-105 EF 1:4 L lens, a Sigma 12-24mm 1:4.5-5.8 DG HSM and a Canon EF 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 IS that I wanted to see if I could use the Canon EF lens with full functionality on the a6000. I purchased the Signstek adaptor on Amazon for $109 and tried ...

I just bought the A6000. It's quite nice and definitely complicated compared to my Nikon D80. Out of the box, the manuals provided are quite limited so, I dutifully went to the Sony website to look at the supporting documentation to figure out how to use the WiFi and PlayMemories apps and I got this: "Support information for the ILCE-6000L is coming soon! In the meantime, for product specifications and ordering information for the ILCE-6000L, please visit the Sony Store web site ." There is a ...

At the beginning I must say – this is not a beginner’s camera. It’s packed with all the ‘options’ and ‘possibilities’ as for example Nikon D7100. It does not fall back a fraction of an mm from it – au contraire, I see it even more advanced. I jumped ships from Nikon DSLR ‘ship’, and have absolutely no regrets: every review that concludes ‘too bad there are very limited number of lenses for this camera’ – is a c**p. Adapter for any lens mount costs about £4. I have many different prime lenses ...

Game of mirror less cameras has taken to a next level by Sony with a6000. With 11fs and lock on continues focus. It's got some processing power too. Big plus to the camera is it's size and this case size is sure not related to it's performance. Only issue that I am having is the Multi Interface shoe adapter. I am unable to get any non Sony flashes work with this camera.

I'm in the market for a solid camera with excellent image quality and low light performance and fast. I've had Canon 7D with kit lenz (55 - 200mm)? The image quality was out of this world, so as build quality, but felt old and huge, but had what I wanted 1/8000 meant crisp fast shots with 7 or 8 fps My first impression of sony was Nice quality camera, fast, excellent night shots. The 11 fps mirror-less and solid low light performance given smaller size sold it to me. But exporting the day ...

PRO: - Small & good built quality - Focus is fast (compared to my D90) and flexible due to more focus point - LCD is good and EVF feels OK even though still far from OVF - The IQ is very good compared to my 12Mp D90 in high ISO - The AWB is OK in mix lighting and tend to cooler side. - Price is good, I got early bird discount and free battery - Wifi feature helps mobile transfer - Focus peaking helps using manual lenses and LCD/EVF shows exposure while closing/opening aperture - Universal hot ...
