Hi, DPReview. I bought a used SEL18135 for my a6000 from Mercari. Although the seller "gently used" the lens, it wasn't shipped so gently and I have a reason to believe this lens might be decentered or tilted. The first and second pictures show how the lens was actually shipped. That's right, it was wrapped using the food wrap you would find in your kitchen and was put in Amazon envelope with ONE layer of bubble wrap, from NJ to CA (USPS). The package I received. I could feel the lens moving...

I've been using the a6000 for sometime now and am looking to upgrade to full frame. This is purely a hobby for me and I can't justify the huge expense of the latest and greatest. I've decided to save up and buy the a7rii. It will take me a while to get a collection of good glass together. I have some friends that have FF canon glass they will lend me once and awhile. My question is, is it worth using the a7rii with apsc native glass in crop mode or should I just continue using the a6000 until...
Hello, I am new to photography and i bought a Sony a6000 for my upcoming trip to Europe and Japan. My ideas are to take photos of my family and specialy of the landscapes that we visit, the thing is i do not know i can do this only with the kit lens or it will be good to buy another one. Thanks,
Hey all, just wanna ask does anybody know if the A6000 supports Live View in the new Imaging Edge - Remote Program or not? because with previous Sony PC remote program there's no such thing as Live View and even Imaging Edge webpage says my a6300 can't do a Live View. But surprise surprise, the A6300 can do Live View via USB with Imaging Edge Remote program. So please can anybody tell me if a6000 can do the same? Thanks in advance.

The Travor SL-282S is a clone of the Sony HVL-F20M and can work as a wireless trigger for the HVL-F43M. This works fine on my Sony A6000. But on my A6400 I can't get it it work. The Travor is being recognized and can be used as a normal flash. When I change to WL it still recognizes the device (otherwise I wouldn't able to change the flash setting to wireless). But when I fire the small set of strobes aren't being fired and thus the HVL-F43M won't fire either. Has anyone else experienced this...
A little research has led me to believe replacing the pop up flash assembly on my Sony a6000 might be as easy as removing two little screws and unplugging a little ribbon cable, then reversing the process with the new assembly. Am I right or wrong? Where can I order the part? I’ve only found eBay and some cheap supplier (AliExpress) in China. I dropped the camera and now the pop up flash is slightly bent and won’t close and latch. The camera still works and the flash even flashes, it just...

Can a FF Canon lens be used as a FF lens via Metabones, Viltrox, etc., 0.71x or other adapters on APS-C or MFT Canon or non-Canon bodies? Not sure where to post. Posted to Canon SLR Lens Talk by mistake yesterday. Part of my collection of nice old Canon glass includes some wide angle and fisheye lenses. I no longer have a Full Field (FF) Canon body (theft). I have seen some web postings about various Metabones or Viltrox adapters, mostly to Sony or micro 4/3rds (MFT) camera bodies. I have a...
