It may be because my NEX-7 has gone through thousands and thousands of exposures, I'm not sure. Regardless, here's what's happening: This started a week ago, and has progressively gotten worse. When in any shooting mode, after I make a menu change, go to image playback and back, or make a photograph, my NEX-7 runs an increasing risk of a soft lock-up. Any idea when the A6000 in silver will be available? I've checked various retailers and only the black version is up for per-order for the announced 4/15 release date. My one inquir,y with B&H, has so far went unanswered. Does anyone know when the A6000, body-only or kit, will be available, or based on previous experience care to hazard a guess? Thanks.
Hi I checked many sites and blogs related to A6000 and couldn't find lens compatibility list.Does anyone know that zeiss 32 F 1.8,SEL 35 F 1.8 ,SEL 50 mm F 1.8 and SEL 18 - 200 mm(old one ) will take advantage of A6000 ?.I was on the verge of buying XT1 ,then just Sony again pulled me back.Please help.

So tried out an NEX-6 on a whim about a month ago, and thought it was interesting but not quite as well thought out as a GX7. Didn't like that there were only two customizeable function buttons compared with the GX7's 3.5. I was reading about the a6000 and someone said that the NEX-5R or T can have the functions of its direction buttons changed. Is this correct? Because if so, I think I might just pick up one of those and wait until the A6000 comes down in price to upgrade.
SO, I have to purchase a camera for a colleague, and originally I was going to get our standard dslr package (18-50 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 50mm 1.8). But in talking with them, they don't want to carry around something too heavy, and they only want one lens on the camera, not wanting to carry around a large bag and heavy lenses. They also want to have some bit of a reach, need a bit of a wide angle, and need to be able to handle some low light situations. Sigh - I am a guy you normally carries four...
