But then my camera stays like this and doesn't connect. Good evening everyone. I'm trying to use the feature where I control my a6000 with my iPhone 6s. I have to connect my camera to my phone via WiFi which I have done before to send pictures to my phone. All of a sudden, it's not working and it just says "connecting" on my camera screen but it doesn't connect(check out the photos). If someone could please help me out, I'd be super grateful. Thanks! Says it's connected on my phone...

This lens worked on my A6000 no problem, but it won't recognise the lens in video mode on my A6300, it works taking photos though. Any ideas what the problem is? I have enable release w/o lens but didn't make a difference. Would really appreciate some help on this SORRY GUYS, NEVERMIND, I figured it out... it was my canon fingers muscle memory, I'd been hitting the C1 (as it's in the same place as the REC button on the sony ; - )) button expecting it to record
I have been waiting to upgrade my a6000 and the price point of the 6600 convinced me now is the time to go full frame. My sites were solely on the A7iii until I noticed the current price of the A7riii. Its now only 500$ over the a7iii. The only con that I can see with the "r" is that its listed as 399 focus points compared to 693 on the slightly cheaper A7iii. That seems like a lot. While either would be an upgrade, my camera funds are extremely low and I need to make a call I can live...
I'm using a A6000 camera but in a dilemma if I should get the Sony 18-105mm zoom lens. I already got a Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN and Sony SEL35F18. I mostly use it for my travel, not sure if I should get the zoom lens and sell away my 35mm. I like the quality of prime lens but also want the flexibility of not changing the lens so often. Need some advice from all of you!
I used to shoot film, and stopped when things got problematic (developing/printing). I am thinking about getting into digital, and have become intrigued by the sony offerings. I almost bought the A7RII soon after it was released, but life happened. I have two Summicron Lieca-M lenses (35/50), and a nice nice 90mm so I have a starting place. I am thinking of getting the A7iii, along with the 24mm G Master native lens. I am drawn to this lens for the night sky shooting ability. Is this a...
A6600 from B&H offer poped out on one of my phone apps, but $1395 just for the camera? I still have two Nex-5T cameras and few lenses. I was looking to get one with 24 Mp, probably A6300. Sony forgot the average guy with not so much to spend for digital camera. A6000 the cheapest 24 Mp is how many years old now? Does the new firmware update improve enough?
Hi, I'm looking into affordable enough fish-eye/very wide lenses compatible with my sony a6000, but there don't seem to be many options available. Autofocus would be preferable but not essential. Any recommendations (even using adapters) would be appreciated! Thanks
