Hi Everyone. I've been getting excited with buying Minolta MD and AF lenses and adapting them to be used on my E-Mount Sony A3000. My latest acquisition was a MD ROKKOR-X 50mm 1:1.7 MD ROKKOR-X 50MM 1:1.7 The problem is that the mount on the normal mount side of the lens is not MD or AF mount (or at least does not fit any of my adapters) and on the lens-hood side of things is an E-compatible? (it doesn't fit quite right, but it's close) mount ring so that I can mount the lens "backwards"...
Hi Everyone! I'm new here, and starting to contribute but I thought I would start asking my first question. I started years ago with a basic point and shoot. Later I moved to a Fuji Fine Pix S900 bridge camera, and recently (About 2 years ago) upgraded that to a Sony A3000. I'm not going to lie, the cost was the main reason I took the leap for the A3000, and now I'm starting to experience some of the limits that come with that awesomely low price tag. (Don't get me wrong, I can still take...
My Sony a3000 buttons aren't working and I've tried everything in my power to find a fix, but to no avail. The display button, exposure button, navigation buttons, dial wheel function, movie button, and playback button doesn't work. However the mode dial (e.g to switch from Program to Manual) and the Finder/LCD button (to switch between Viewfinder and LCD) works. The camera doesn't auto focus either. Interestingly however, since the dial to switch between shooting modes (e.g. from Program to...
Hello everyone. Yesterday I received my flash Meike MK320. My intended use was to put it on TTL and attach it to my A3000 but, for my surprise, TTL mode didn't work well. All photos come out underexposed and the information of ISO and aperture don't reflect in the flash's LCD panel. If I set my camera on aperture priority and set it to F5.6, the flash only displays F3.5 and ISO50. If I change aperture on the fly, the flash will remain at F3.5. AFAIK the A3000 has the same MI shoe as the NEX...

Before anyone tells me off, I did try searching, honest. So if this has been asked and answered before, my sincere apologies. My Nex 3n and A3000 have a habit every now and then of taking a burst of shots. I have tried to imagine how this has occurred, so double check the settings - it's definitely set to 'single shot'. Did I press on the shutter a bit harder than usual? No, it isn't that. Has the camera decided that it needs to bracket the shots? I don't think so, since it was in Manual...
hey , i am new in this field , and i just bought sony alpha 3000 6 days ago , today was the first time i use the flash , and after i pop the flash out , when i press the shutter , the flash flickers 4 times then the photo is taken , is this a malfunction or a setting that i can change ? shouldnt the flash just fire once and that's it ? why do i get those 4 flickers just to shoot one pic ?! thanks in advance :)
Hello everyone, I have a few legacy lenses lying around which are not in good working condition, and I will be investing in some more manual focus lenses. I have a Vivitar 75-205 f/3.8 (Vivitar made) that is falling apart and I consider just an overall average performance lens A Minolta 50mm f/1.7 MD with the aperture lock not working, damaged coating, damaged thread and sloppy focus ring A Craiq 135mm f/2.8 (Yaschica made) with fungus, overall average performer and a perfect Helios 44-2 58mm...
Hello guys and gals, can someone upload a photo of a 77 filter with a lens that has a filter thread under 55mm, preferably on small body like a Sony A3000 or even nex style body. Thank you. --We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public. -Abraham Lincoln
