The Sony FE 400mm F2.8 'G-Master' is an optically stabilized super telephoto lens. It has 17 lens elements: 1 ED and 3 fluorite, an 11-blade circular diaphragm and dual linear drive focus motors. The lens is sealed against dust and moisture and has a fluorine coating on the front element to keep away fingerprints and water. A Nano AR coating helps reduce ghosting. The lens is relatively lightweight at 'just' 2.9 kg / 6.4 lbs and is 359mm / 14.1" long. Filters with a 40.5mm thread can be dropped in.
