Hi all,
I have a Sony a6300 with the Sony 18-105mm f4 lens. I have been using it when I travel, but I find it too big to use more often and was considering buying another one that would make it more compact for everyday use (street photography, environmental portraits, maybe some archicteture). I would also like to get something that would allow me to take some astrophotography.
After some thought, I am considering the following:
- Sony 35mm f/1.8 or Sony 20mm f/2.8
- Rokinon 12mm f/2.0

Hello,
I use the 20 mm pancake SEL20F28 lens on A5000 camera. Is possible to use the focus ring to control aperture ? It would be convinient and also possible since it is software controlled.
Thanks.

Hello, I'm aware that similar questions have been asked multiple times, but most of them are from last year and/or fragmented, so figured I would ask again here. I am thinking about buying a6000 or at least waiting for this a6100 to be announced, so get that instead or I buy a6000 cheaper. I am basically a novice with digital cameras (only dealt with film cameras years ago), but willing to spend time learning once I get one. I will use mainly for casual travel photos (i.e. street/landscape)....

Is the difference really big, in real life ?
I mean... do the colors coming from the Nikon, be more lifelike ?
thanks!

I am a relatively new photographer and have been reading these forums for a while, they are amazing and very helpful. I had a Canon T2i before I purchased the A6000 and sold my Canon gear. I also purchased the Sigma 30mm f2.8 EX DN because I love shooting with a prime lens ( I had a 50mm prime for my Canon). I was originally interested in the SEl20f28 but did not want to spend for it, so I bought the Sigma. I just purchased the SEL20f28 in the current best buy sale and am considering...

I currently use the Sony NEX6 with the Tamaron 18-200 lens. I am looking to purchase a more compact lens to use for landscape and day to day shots. I am thinking about getting the Sony 20mm f/2.8 lens.
Any comments or suggestions?
Thanks!

Has anyone here experience of both the Touit 32/1,8 and the Sony 35/1,8? Is the Zeiss glass much sharper? how about autofocus preformance? Which is fastest an most accurate?
Any opinion about the Sony 20/2,8? Especially compared to the Zeiis 24/1,8? Apart from the brightness?
I´m about to by a Nex7 or a Nex6 that is very cheap in Sweden right now and want to get good glass.
Thanks!

Does anyone have an Adobe RAW profile they have made for this lens (E20mm F2.8) that they are willing to share?
Thanks

Hi everyone!
An EOS Rebel T2i inherited from my father started my passion for photography. I started studying the aspects of taking pictures and the art behind finding the right shot. After nearly five years I do see my progress and I am happy to be able to shoot meaningful pictures and call photograpy a passion of mine.
What worried me though is that I did never have the camera on me when I wanted it the most. With the great cameras built into the recent iPhones this became somewhat better....

Has anyone used the new SEL 20F28 on the NEX 7?
Magenta cast or not; it is a pancake after all ...
Worse or less color cast in the corners than the Sigma 19 2.8 E mount lens?
I would like to know what you have experienced here in order to understand which of these two might be (more) color cast free, if any ....
