Hi all, I'm new here so hope this is the correct section! Recently purchased A6500 and want to make some info videos about IT security but the output drives me crazy! I have this strange shake of the HDDs and even the books in the background and I'm not really sure why. I know they're not moving and you can see that when the camera focuses on them. https://youtu.be/JunXesJgGII What to do about it? How to solve it? Does anyone know what causes it? Camera is on tripod Thanks!

I have a question about the Sony Zeiss 16-70 lens when using the zoom ring while shooting a movie.  My copy while good for stills is unusable for shooting a movie clip while zooming.  No matter how careful  I am when zooming in or out of a subject, the footage is quite jumpy. So the question is, do I have a defective lens or is this just the way this lens works when zooming?

I have a Perception 15 by Think Tank which holds a lot but it's so deep when you walk around you always bump into people  There don't seem to be very many "thin" backpacks that are small on the market other than maybe the expensive "Ona" backpacks which I'd have to take out a mortgage to own. I'd like to carry the following: Sony mirrorless camera w/ 70-200 lens and may 1 or 2 smaller lenses with enough pockets for miscellaneous sh*t.  Don't like the sling bags because they may be...

There's a race coming up in my city next week and I'd like to take pictures of the bicycles and blur the background.  I'm going to set the A6300 up in shutter priority perhaps 1/60th of a second (maybe lower)?   Are there any settings I need to turn off on the camera so when I pan it doesn't get confused with "accidental movement"? I know there's no stabilization but the lens does have stabilization. And on the other hand what are the best settings to use to get a few bicycles in focus?  I...

I'd love to get the reach of e mount glass such as the 70-300mm lens but my budget just won't let me right now and I'd like to keep the autofocus if I can Is there A mount glass with the A mount to E mount adapter that works well and is fairly lightweight and compact or do I have to stick with E mount glass? I'd also been considering adapters for other lenses such as the Cannon and Nikon, etc but I can't find a good combination or the adapters are crap

I'm looking at purchasing a used Zeiss 1670F4  from a reputable dealer with a decent return policy. Does anyone have a simple to follow testing protocol specific to this lens? Where and what exactly should I be looking for in order to see if it is a 'bad copy' (de-centered)? I have heard great things about this lens from those that have good copies. On the other hand I've heard this lens has a reputation for poor quality control on this exact model. I don't mind paying top dollar for a used...

Hey all  I'm looking for a ball head that I can use with my Gitzo GM2561T. I plan to use it as my lightweight/travel kit. The camera I'm using is just a Sony a6500, with a few relatively fixed/small lenses (16-70mm f/4, 10-18mm).  Would really love a head that has quick release mechanism that can be coupled with  ARCA-baseplate (so I can use my Peak Design and/or BlackRapid strap).

Hello guys, I am wondering whether my 1670 is broken as at 70mm F4 it is like completely soft.. example images: @70mm F4 http://i.imgur.com/s0H1BCh, http://imgur.com/ynUA9jQ, http://i.imgur.com/NHVL0bL @70mm F5 http://i.imgur.com/RW3lbwj, http://imgur.com/aXWNTWb, http://i.imgur.com/iw0oA6y Taken on tripod with focus locked so it cannot be misfocus. The difference is quite huge in my eyes.. should I RMA ?

Just got this lens and I get to exchange it within a 7 day period if there are any issues. Would like to know, are there any issues you can see with the lens? e.g. decentering All images were taken at f5.6, 1/40 or 1/50 shutter and 1250 ISO. Thank you for taking the time to look through!

I'm going to be doing some photographs at the farm where horses are boarded and ridden so I'll be taking some stills as well as some action pics. I have an A6300 with 4 lenses in my arsenal: 55mm/1.8, 28mm/2, 16-70/4 and an 8mm fisheye. Out of these 4 lenses which ones would be best to use and why? Obviously I want an lens that's not going to make parts of the horse look larger than they are and keep everything in proportion. I don't have access to an external flash just the pop up flash.
