I recently bought it as I got a good price thru amazon uk. I was well aware of its drawbacks, so I am happy. I want it for its water resistant property. So far great results even in low light situations. I am usually a Nikon D7000 operator. Problems: The well advertised and discussed.

I go this camera prior to a trip to Hawaii to use underwater, and to have later as a carry-everywhere camera. The main reasons I chose it over other underwater cameras were: 1. Lens protection when not in use. 2. High quality results with exmor sensor. 3. Super close macro distance (~1cm). 4. 24mm equiv wide angle 5. Nice and small for shirt pocket use. This is a great little camera. It's fun all around camera. Pictures are decent. Video is great, and underwater performance has exceeded my expectations. Reviewing both pictures and videos on the rear LCD screen is a lot of fun too amongst friends and family. It's super clear. I've also used the HDMI out to play back pictures and videos on a large screen and was extremely satisfied. Problems: Overall operation is slow.
