I've had my T2 for several months now and from the start the On/Off switch seems a bit mushy. There is a slight click when turning on and off but it is not the same as my X-E2. The X-E2 has a very positive, pronounced, click and detent from on to off and off to on. The T2 doesn't have the same feel. Just looking for how other users find the T2 on/off switch. I'm thinking I need to send it in for service unless all of them are similar.

Hi there! I have a problem with repeatable focus when using my GH4 with all my lenses (Olympus 12mm t2.0; lumix 25mm t.14; olympus 45mm t1.8). The problem is, if I switch off the camera and switch it on again, I lose my focus point. (I am in Manual Focus all the time). This is very annoying, because the option that is left is not switching off, and that consumes the battery... When I bought the lenses, I thought they had a focus rig and that would give me repeatable focus. Is there any...
According to this page http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/software/firmware/x/xt20/index.html the E3's tracking algorithm (even looking at the history), while implemented to the T2 as well, is not available to the T20. Did I miss something ? Is due soon ?
Hi, I’ve just taken delivery of an X-T2 body and as I was lifting the camera out of the box I noticed something loose. I haven’t broken the seal yet, but if I gently rock the camera in my hand I can feel something loose inside the body. I can’t think of anything which should cause this (no IBIS) on the T2. Please can anyone with a T2 tell me if this is normal. I don’t want to break the seal in case I have to return it and the supplier can see I’ve not touched it. Thanks in advance --Tony168
Dear DPReview Community, I recently purchased a brand new Sony A7RII for an insanely good price from a HK retailer (don't know if it's relevant, but I'll include it anyway). After using it for more than a week with some Contax G glass that my dad had, the Zeiss FE 35mm T2.8 ZA I had also ordered finally came. We started taking a couple of pictures (which can be found here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1iFKlfMUmnMDPHh8kA2vAsUJIBzzCW83N) just to mess around and after putting them up on the...
Brief question: much to my surprise I'm contemplating an upgrade to an X-T2 and selling my X-T1, or keeping my X-T1 and adding an X-T20 . I've read that for video there is a 1.17x crop with full-sensor pixel readout, as opposed to line skipping with no crop on the X-T20. So if my math is correct, the 10-24 at its widest on the X-T2 would effectively be 11.7mm? In other words, hardly a difference for the better quality video on the T2 compared to the T20? --"Turn my eyes from looking at...

Hello everyone! I'm an aspiring filmmaker and I managed to gather a set of cinema primes, Lomos Standard Speed (22mm, 35mm, 50mm and 75mm, all T2.3). I got them for their cheap price (2 cost about as much as a single Samyang prime) but mainly because they have a really interesting rendering. For me, russian lenses in general have a rendering between "standard" spherical lenses and anamorphic lenses. I did a Master's thesis specifically on this. The anamorphic lenses are probably the most...
I have been mucking about with some old equipment in what might be the last sunny of summer, and noticed this issue: I shot the same scene JPEG with 250mm lens, 250mm plus 2x clearimage zoom 250mm plus 2x teleconverter 500mm mirror lens Apart from all the normal issues with quality drop, vibration, etc, it seems to me that a) the clearimage and the TC give images almost the same size. b) the clearimage and the TC make things almost exactly 2x the size of the 250mm. b) the mirror len image...
Hey, I plan on shooting commercial work and I plan on purchasing the GH5 with the audio kit. I already own the Canon 24-70mm and the 70-200 mm EF lens. I was advised to purchase the Metabones T Smart Adapter for Canon EF for my existing lenses. Is that one that would be recommended? Secondly, I am looking to get crisp, clear long shots and close ups, is this a lens that would be recommended? Rokinon 16mm T2.2 Cine Lens for Micro Four Thirds Thanks!
