I know that the Moza works better with bigger camera. I am trying to make it work with the smaller Sony RX100M4. I added a power bank and quick release and mount, and then added some weight. The only way I know how to add the weight is attaching it to bottom of the base plate screw. With that, the gimbal works fine (with the following exception). I am not able to perform the balancing of point the lens up or down and stay because the weight in the bottom is out of balance. I am not able to...

I have received the crane yesterday and starting the learning process of something totally new to me. I spent about 90 minutes in learning to set up and balance the Sony RX100M4 and here is what I have learned so far. The RX100M4 is a tag below the min. rated weight. I added a small Anker candy-bar power bank with velco attactment, which helps. I also learned that I had to keep the camera turned on so the lens is extended out. When the camera is off, the lens is retracted, which does not have...

After dabbling in video for 18 months, I am about to make a plunge into buying a handheld gimbal to expand my horizon. I have been relying on monopod and tripod for most of the footages. That works great but I am somewhat limited to static scenes. For movement, I use a strap and handheld the camera on a bracket but I still need to rely heavily in post processing stabilization to steady the frame. I think it is time for me to get a gimbal. I am sold on the Zhiyun Crane V2 3-Axis from what I...

Hi all. I have the rx100m4 but I'm gonna assume the answer is pretty much the same for all of the rx100s. My question is- what's the best scene mode or what are the best settings to photograph an indoor concert? At the moment I'm thinking it's High Sensitivity mode. Thanks in advance.

HiI know that the LX10 doesn't use the whole with of the sensor when recording 4K. What about 1080p@24fps? What about 1080p@120fps? Is the 120fps comparable to RX100 IV? Bitrate, no pixel bining and so forth?

I had a chance to take a few videos with the Nikon in the last couple of weeks. I am discovering that it has a lot of positive features that can add to my more video robust Sony RX100M4. First off, the sensor on the D800 is phenomenal. It is clear and sharp. The battery life is a lot, a lot longer than the Sony's. Then the major thing is my lenses investment. I have some quality glasses with great range. I have the 20mm f/2.8D, the 35-70mm f/2.8D and the newly acquired 80-400mm AF-S ED. The...

Hello Sony users; Nikon 1 user here, tempted by a RX100. Just a couple of questions about the RX100 m4 or m5 EVF. 1/ when you release the EVF, does it switches the camera on automatically (or is it possible to set the camera to do so)? In the latter case, if you put the EVF back down, does it switches the camera off? 2/ Is it possible to turn the camera off while leaving the EVF out? I suppose it is. Thanks. Any suggestion or advice about the RX100 are welcome. --Andréhttp://a.barelier.free.fr/

Simple question. Which one is better?  I'm heading on an overseas trip shortly during the winter in the Northern Hemisphere and low light performance will be important. Will be using the camera as a primary shooter throughout the trip. Selfies, portraits, landscapes, street photography etc.  I also plan on taking some video (both outdoors, and indoors and in low light situations) and will utilise the high-speed capability.  All I want to know is simply which one is better. Price is not a factor.

Hi, I understand that RX100 Mark 2 can use Sony's multi-interface shoe flash guns. I have three questions regarding this: 1. Does Mk2 support older units (I have an HVL-F58AM) with ADP-MAA hot shoe adapter? 2. Using a compatible flash gun, can you use wireless flash with off-camera flash units? 3. Can you use the built-in flash in wireless control mode?3a, This applies to other versions as well, not just Mk2. I'm on the fence about getting one and while low light performance is important, I'd...
