Hi, all - I am just getting back into ILC photography as a hobby after some 40 years. Back then we used traditional controls for aperture, shutter speed and setting the ISO on the film cameras. I decided to go with the Fujifilm X system due that same traditional approach to camera control, plus apparently good quality lenses, relatively compact cameras, the support and a user community that I really enjoy. Now, I have this new X-T20 and the kit 18-55 mm lens that I am quite happy with, but I...

Aloha! I'm looking to buy a digicam for the first time in years, so I'm looking at what's out there these days.  I'm sure you all know what I mean. I bought a Sony Rx100 ii because, being older, it's pretty inexpensive, but it has good IQ ratings and is compact. The first night I used it though I knew I was going to keep looking. The lens is not very fast and it's SO small. It is not great to hold and the controls are small and not great. So I'm looking at cameras, some compact, some ILC's,...

I have a filter adaptor but welding glass can be heavy so I don't want the adaptor to fall off. I've thought about using rubber bands, and tape. I think tape would be the best idea, taping it to another filter. --https://www.flickr.com/photos/31391486@N04/

First of all, I've been trying to capture a photo such as this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/31391486@N04/27635325536/in/dateposted-public/ using a Sony RX100 II without any luck. Is my camera unique? I'd like to see if other peoples' cameras can achieve the same result. This was done with a blacklight. I think I may have set a custom white balance on the non-shiny side of tin foil. It's disappointing if I can't replicate this with my RX100 II because I'd like to study where the colors come...

Hi, all. I have a Pentax K30, which I keep in the car. (just in case).  Also I have a K3, (which I love  Have many lenses from film days. Eternally greatful that Pentax kept same  mount).  When I had 2 major operations on my right wrist, so not so strong, I bought a Olympus OMD M1, mark one. because of the weight, (lighter).  Because I am a bit of a camera fenatic I also have a Sony RX100 II. Also love., but no vewfinder.  So I bought a TS110. Now I realise I am getting  greedy. (believe or...

Just wondering if anyone has luck using that combo or any other Godox flash for that matter. I own the RX100 V1 and was considering getting V2 only to be able to add flash for some tiny yet high quality camera system. This is noy my main system at all but a nice easy to carry setup for those times when you want to be super light. For that reason I am not spending the money needed for a used III or newer..basically its either V2 or stay with the...

I'm a first time user for the Sony RX100M2. I've got everything working fine but am stumped by one thing and could not find any answer throughout the user guide. After doing a still shot and pressing the button to look at last picture, the picture is displayed in a small format in the upper left and all the data about the settings are displayed. This continues to be true for all the picture I review. Is there a simple way to just look at the whole picture without having all the data? I can...
