The EVF accessory (FDA-EV1MK), which frequently gets paired with the RX1 series, gets its video and power from the horseshoe multi-interface, so an external monitor accessory is feasible. Perhaps the horseshoe doesn't supply enough power for a larger format monitor but then that's easily solved by having the monitor be battery powered (with trickle charging from the horseshoe). Seems like a no-brainer accessory to reduce cabling and further invest folks into the alpha ecosystem. Why doesn't...

I use the pop up flash on my RX1R to trigger 3rd party flashes but was wondering if there are any radio triggers that would work with the RX1R? I use a Yongnuo 560III with the 560TX transmitter for my Fuji but it won't work with the RX1R. Also, I don't think the Godox flashes and trigger would work either with the RX1 series? Would I have any other options with radio triggers and off camera flash or would I just have to stick with the pop up flash as a trigger? Thanks :)
I'm new to Fuji and considering buying one for my everyday shooting. I only shoot 35mm so not worry about interchangeable camera or not. RX1 is overpriced to me; Leica TL with 23mm f/2 has terrible autofocus speed; and my 5D3 with 35mm f/1.4 is just to big for everyday street photography. This comes down to Fujifilm X100F or X-E3 with 23mm f/2. My simple question is: in terms of IQ and autofocus speed, which camera will perform better? Thanks!
Hi all! I was hesitant to post here because I was afraid it would come off as a little entitled, but my friend just upgraded his camera rig, and very generously gifted me his old Sony RX1. I have some experience shooting and editing videos, but little familiarity with photography and photo editing. I've been reading up on the camera (and photography in general), and was wondering if it was too advanced (or even limited?) for someone like me, who is just getting started. Thank you in advanced!
Hey guys, Looking to purchase the x100f, was wondering about the sensor's high iso performances. Does anyone already got theirs mind sharing couple images they took at various ISOs? Preferably at common ISO's 100, 800, 1600, 3200, 6400, 12800. Previously tried a RX1 owned by my friend, we were able to push it all the way up to 4000's and still get very usable images. Was wondering if 4 years of sensor development has been able to bring smaller sensors up to par with FF sensors 4 years back....
I am using DK-X1 DC adapter with Sony RX100 and there is small opening in battery door for the cable of the adapter. So, this adapter can be used instead of the battery with the battery door closed. Now I want to buy Sony RX1 which use the same type of battery. (NP-BX1) so I could use the same adapter. The information with adapter is that it is compatible with the Sony Cyber-shot RX1.Problem is that I do not see any opening on the battery door of the RX1 for the cable of the DC adapter. Somebody...

hi everyone, i bought the original x100 year years ago upon its release but felt that the autofocus was pretty horrible. i enjoyed the image quality very much but the autofocus was terrible, and i found trying to manual focus with it just as bad. i said i would never buy a fuji again but with my Df on its way out after years of hard work i thought i might give fuji another go as my everyday carry camera (bit of street, family, dogs, general use) so my real question is how much better is the...

I have the two older alpha full frames with lots of glass , and the nex 7 with some lenses that I carry as backup when working and as my vacation camera . I'm flirting with the idea of a rx1 in my pocket due to it's size. Can't imagine having the a99 with 35mm lens on me all day long. First question. So , with the nex 7 I mostly use the zeiss 24mm (LOVE this little guy), this combo makes it analogues to the RX1 r2 with the 35mm lens it has; someone that used the zeiss 24mm , how does it...
