Noob question here. I'm a new user using an RX10 IV shooting in RAW + JPEG. My problems with the RAW photo is that it makes it look like people's (caucasian and asian) skin color reddish like they have a slight sunburn. The out-the-camera JPEG has a more realistic skin color. But the JPEG photo may be slightly underexposed because that's how I set the EV. I planned on fixing the exposure in post. Even if I fix the exposure in the RAW file, people's skin are still reddish. What settings do I...

Hi all - I took my RX100m3 out of storage this weekend. As first it seemed okay, but maybe on the third time using it, the protective lens caps (is that what it’s called?) no longer fully opens. I’ve tried using a piece of paper to dig underneath to no avail and can’t seem to get whatever is causing it to stick out. I consulted a local repair shop who said a full cleaning is between $180-350 which I think is insane. I’m not even sure the camera is worth 350$ at this point. Any ideas? Thank...

Updated question:What is the smallest case/bag that you can fit an RX100, two batteries, and charger (can be third party charger)? What about the RX1 series with the same (and a hood)?I previously thought about keeping them together in a mirrorless mover or similar, but separate bags will best over time.

My camera LCD screen does not rotate 180 degrees when I flip the screen for a selfie. I have the Self-portrait Timer is set to On...and I tried turning it off. Is there another setting for this? (My RX100IV flipped the image automatically.) Thank you! I actually figured out that if I leave the screen slightly tilted it will flip. It stinks I need to do this. But it's better than being upside down. (The photo is oriented correctly.) --T Pieples

Hi guys, Im in the market for an electronic gimbal under 600 dollars , been eyeballing on zhiyun crane v2 and ikan beholder ds2a. What do u guys recommend? Its hard to decide since the rx10 iii weight is about 2.5 lbs and camera is pretty big. Mostly will be used for automotive video and photos. (Rolling shots) so gimbal should hold wind when shooting video from a inside a moving car (will be holding it , aiming it with arms out the window of a moving car) pls help

Hi How would the quality of a cropped photo from RX10 VI at full zoom compare to the quality of a fully zoomed photo of my old camera? Would the details in the photo be better in the Sony? Can anybody make an estimate based on the specs? My old camera is a Canon Powershot SX130 IS. It has a 1/2.3" sensor, 12x zoom (28mm-336mm eq) f3.4-5.6, 12 megapixels. Rx10 VI is 1" sensor, 8x zoom, 20 megapixels. Thanks

Hi there, Sorry for such a basic question but this is something that I never seem able to master no matter what camera I’m using. Firstly I’m very much an amateur that doesn’t know that much about advanced photography. Im heading on safari in a few weeks and I’m sure (very much hoping anyway) that we’ll be taking photos of each other with animals in the background or even beautiful scenery in the background. In the past every time I try this I never seem able to get the background focused....

Like Sony's A5000, and A6000 series before A6500All of Fuji's X series camera except XH1Ricoh's GR seriesAnd Panasonic's GF series.I know EIS don't work as well as OIS as IBIS and Len based OIS.But it's better then nothing, right? It will enables Mirrorless to work better with non IS Lens.It will also make big sensor fix zoom camera like RX1 and XF10 works better with more casual users. It also let the camera itself to stay small and light. All they need is reduced picture in EIS mode, example,...
