I’m planning to purchase either an X100F with TC’s or X-Pro2 with 18/23/35 lenses. Haven’t decided on WR vs R yet. Which camera presents the best OVF shooting only experience? Why do you prefer one OVF experience over the other? Which camera has the best battery life assuming all other screens disabled? Which speedlight or fill flash? Stills only use case here.

Hello all, I have a Canon Rebel Xsi from 2009 and acquired the 17-55 2.8 at some point. I used it on a vacation 5 years ago and don’t use it much due to weight. I do use the 55-250 kit lens once in a while. I appreciate the nice bokeh it provides. But the Xsi is obviously slow and almost unusable indoors without a flash. I am not at all into post processing and don’t have time for it. I have been using my iPhone 7 almost exclusively and even when I take photos with the Xsi, I haven’t been...

So my Sony RX100 IV died recently as a result of getting a little bit wet when shooting photos on holiday. I really enjoyed using this camera mainly because of how much it offered despite its small form factor. However, limited zoom range and inability to obtain strongly blurred background were the limitations that I was noticing the most. It was good to be able to have it near me most of the time but on the other hand sometimes I didn't see a point of using it instead of my Google Pixel...

New to non-iPhone photography. I have my new RX100 V set to Raw+JPEG. Does raw capture the full screen image vs just the zoom image seen in the jpeg?  In other words, can I get back the full wider background than what I shot when I zoomed?  Thx

Hello, My lovely little RX1 has developed a very annoying flashing e91 error...It still allows me to take photos but the flash is not working. I can't find any information on this problem with an rx1, any ideas? I have reset the camera to factory settings but still shows error. Many thanks, Fred

If I already have the V, is the VI worth the upgrade? I value better quality portraiture over long distance scenery for a P&S.

I'm considering upgrading my Panasonic fz300 with a RX10iii. I assume the Sony is better at everything, but I'm wondering how good is the weather sealing? --** I usually post from my phone so please excuse any typos, inappropriate punctuation and capitalization, missing words and general lack of cohesion and sense in my posts...

Given a constraint of 2500g all in, what type of FF kit would you bring for a 10 day trip to Italy? There should be an f2 or faster normal to short tele in your recommendation and A7 and RX cameras only.  Manual focus is okay, AF preferred. Recommendation does not have to use my current gear. Advice or brainstorms mich appreciated.

The EVF accessory (FDA-EV1MK), which frequently gets paired with the RX1 series, gets its video and power from the horseshoe multi-interface, so an external monitor accessory is feasible. Perhaps the horseshoe doesn't supply enough power for a larger format monitor but then that's easily solved by having the monitor be battery powered (with trickle charging from the horseshoe). Seems like a no-brainer accessory to reduce cabling and further invest folks into the alpha ecosystem. Why doesn't...
