hi everyone, i bought the original x100 year years ago upon its release but felt that the autofocus was pretty horrible. i enjoyed the image quality very much but the autofocus was terrible, and i found trying to manual focus with it just as bad. i said i would never buy a fuji again but with my Df on its way out after years of hard work i thought i might give fuji another go as my everyday carry camera (bit of street, family, dogs, general use) so my real question is how much better is the...

I have the two older alpha full frames with lots of glass , and the nex 7 with some lenses that I carry as backup when working and as my vacation camera . I'm flirting with the idea of a rx1 in my pocket due to it's size. Can't imagine having the a99 with 35mm lens on me all day long. First question. So , with the nex 7 I mostly use the zeiss 24mm (LOVE this little guy), this combo makes it analogues to the RX1 r2 with the 35mm lens it has; someone that used the zeiss 24mm , how does it...
Hi, I recently bought a 2nd hand/unused RX1. Its a beautiful camera and I love it to bits. Today it developed an issue where, if i replace an exhausted battery for a fully charged battery, it asks for the camera to enter the "Area/Date/Time to be entered when i turn it back on. It looks as if the internal battery that stores this information is exhausted. I have searched the internet for anyone who has had this same issue but cannot find anything. The only thing I found was that, someone...
Reading this title may look ridiculous to some of you - I get that. Let me lay out some factors: My common shooting environments/style: Low-light events, well-lit events such as theatre, small proportion of outdoor work Very little off-camera flash (mostly because of my effort threshold / lack of skill), although I'd like to change that (sitting on two cheap Neewer TTL flashes for Nikon and the Fuji EF-X20) Preference for mid-tele end (105/135), wide shots are...less interesting Prime...

I was planning & waiting to buy the 16-35 GM because I love to use it for street shooting. The 35 mm f2.8 focal length might be better if I need it to work at night. I am not a serious artist nor shoot to work, mainly shoot when travel. I was using an RX1 before. But I found it focusing too slow in low light. So I bought the a7rii. Recently, I lost the RX1. And I started to have more interest in galaxy shooting (Although I have never done once), I am planning to buy a 16-35. While being very...
Can't find any info regarding AF speed difference between the two models. Seems the only thing changed is the sensor/AA glass removal on the RX1r. ... is there any body here who has hands on experience with both cameras? Thanks so much ! ________________________________________________________... so maybe I should call myself Question Mark Eberts
Help me figure out what camera to buy. I think I’m technically a bit better than an absolute beginner, but still a beginner. I’ve gotten many good shots, but it has been because the circumstances have been good, like the light was great and I framed something okay and out of several tries I got a good shot; not so much because I have mastered the settings on the camera and it was super deliberate. Does that make sense? I have a general understanding of speed/aperture concepts and the very...
