Hey guys! I need help with probably the most important decision in my life. I am enthusiast photographer maybe one day a professional. I have been clicking pictures since my 10th grade with a point and shoot canon. In my 12th grade i got a sony hx100v advanced super zoom point and shoot which i recently sold. Well had i known what a dslr was back then i would have gone for one straight away. After that things changed for me. Now I am working and wanted to upgrade to a dslr. If i had the money...
I have a Sony DSC HX100V. I used to have a program on one of my laptops where I could click on the GPS data and it would bring up a location on a map. Anyone have any idea what software this was? I have some photos that I am wanting to get a more exact location on without having to enter coordinates somewhere to figure it out. Thanks for your help
I have a Sony cyber shot HX100V. I have never been satisfied with it. Some pictures turn out very pixeled, like they were painted. I had a panasonic luminix FZ20 that I let go. Never had this problem. I have to do so much adjusting on the Sony avoid the pixeled pictures that the subject or I give up. Have been considering the Panasonic FZ1000. Thank you for any help.

Not sure if this is the right place to post it I have a Sony Cybershot HX100V I looked at the newer HX300 which is almost basically what I already have but more MP and zoom and no GPS. The Android option would be nice but not required (and I am aware of the new Galaxy lens that is becoming available but it only offers 10x zoom at this point. Some might say I might not need more than 10x (and that may be true, most of the time I wouldn't) but if I'm going to buy a super zoom I want something...

Hi Everyone I recently bought a HX300 and enjoy taking pics with it. I saw some of the people using the HX100 and HX200 have Kiwifoto tubes with tele extenders and macro lenses. I saw there is a tube available for the HX300 and was wondering what brand of tele extenders and macro lenses people are using. Can the people with experience in bird photos like Aisse please help.
Hello All, My name is Anne. I've gotten a lot of very helpful information from this forum for quite some time, thank you for that. Was pretty sure I registered a long time ago but couldn't remember my log in info so had to reregister today. Usually I've been able to find what I need in the archives but not having any luck with that this time. Here's my situation. I'm helping out a friend of mine, who has asked me to video her playing an instrument. She wants to post the videos on...
Has anyone else experienced the coating on the screen getting scratched or chipped off? I have always used a camera bag and do not use this camera very much at all. The coating is chipping off all around the edges ..... makes my otherwise nice camera look yucky and old.
