The CD-250 is by far the best digital camera I have seen to date. I have always been sceptical about flash memory and memory stick technology as it appeared too proprietary. With the CD-250 you can save you pictures to inexpensive CD-R media. Some store clerks have told people I know that the disks will not work in CD-ROM drives until the disk is finalized, however I found that only partially true. This is by far the best camera I have had for around $500. As an entry level Mavica it makes all the other memory stick etc. camera look pathetic. Problems: None

I am surpised at the negative comments by other users. I have been using this camera for 3+ months and I am well pleased. There learning curve was longer than I expected. There are a lot of settings to learn on this camera. I just returned from a week trip to Disney and Sea World and I shot close to 200 photos with it and I am well pleased with the results. I was completely enamoured with the CD functionality until I bought it and really had to use it - burning to the CD is slow and maintaining the CDs is a hassle. I returned it when the laser was knocked out of whack - and I didn't abuse this camera - 3 months after I bought it - there are too many moving parts with this camera. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
