Dear Sigma Users, Does someone of you is using older sigma lenses on the Sony E mount cameras? (i search and read everything about this on forum) I have two great and beloved lenses such 50 1.4 EX, 70-200 EX HSM with SA mount, still in perfect condition, and quite good 17-70. I am new to the Foveon sensor and I have acquire DP0, DP2 and recently SD Quattro... The new SFD function sound very nice but so far I don't see much difference in Image quality. I wonder what does this SFD means and what does those 7 shots do? Increase details in pixel or dynamic range or? Would appreciate your help... --Kim

Anyone here at DpReview or Sigma ambassador in this group know if the 2.36 EVF of the SD Quattro is Oled based (Sony) or Lcos (Panasonic)? Thanks all and regardsGian Paolowww.gianpaolodaldello.com

SD1M DP2Q Problem was WB setting gone to "Auto (Lighting Source Priority) : Set White Balance with the atmosphere of the place leaving the lighting source. (only dp Quattro series and sd Quattro). I gives wierd results, and good ones. Must know what one is doing. Anyway the shots with SD1M and SD2Q at last fine. I've saved my best Sigma lenses for a camera like the SD Quattro, but am also a bit of a geek as far as putting on old lenses with M42 mounts. Anybody tried one yet? The SD1 was a total failure with manual lenses, in my opinion. -John --https://www.facebook.com/john.lindrothjohn@johnlindroth.comDefinition: BOKEH - "Some things in life are clear, some things are not - Isn't that wonderful?"
