Sigma sd Quattro Q&As

I found somewhere what seems a good price for an SD1 + 17-50 f/2.8 - 1200€. Is it still worth a purchase or the SD quattro series is vastly superior and renders the SD1 obsolete ? I formerly owned an SD14, but looking at my images, I found them really showing a greenish hue shift. Perhaps I should rework them within SPP. However, like many I was attracted by the look of fine details. Thanks for your answers and suggestions. John
I have recently bought from Sigma refurbished DP2 Quattro bundled with the flash and lens hood for $499 which I think is a great deal. I am quite happy with the camera. Previously I had SD Quattro and sold it because, even after 3 times sending it to Sigma for sensor cleanups, I still saw these nasty spots on photos. I have installed the last SPP 6.5.4 on my 4kRetina Mac and find it much more stable and fast than the version I used before. But I still cannot figure out how to import photos...

I'm planning to get the SD Quattro soon, since I think the price for the body is pretty reasonable now. But as most of them come without any kit lens, would the Sigma 18-200mm and the Sigma 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Macro Contemporary Lens work well with the SD Quattro? These seem like very flexible all-in-one lenses for the SD Quattro. But I wouldn't know how good they are; and if they can auto focus or not with the SD Quattro....or simply speaking, work well (?)

When Luminar 2018 was announced here at DPR a person from Macpun support called "Huttenfreak" confirmed that Luminar 2018 would support Sigma raw files. Therefore I decided to preorder Luminar 2018. I have just downloaded it, but it does not support Sigma raw files! It can't see X3F files from the original DP2 and SD Quattro. And DNG files from SD Quattro looks like the attached image. The only way to edit Sigma files in Luminar 2018 is to export them from Lightroom. Has anyone experienced...
Hello everybody, this is my first post here. I am going to by a Sigma SD Quattro body soon and I was looking for some old wide angle vintage lenses to fit to it. I know that the easy option is a M42 lens (with a adapter), but I was wondering whether anybody managed to fit Minolta's MD lenses to SA. I was particulary interested in getting a Minolta MD 28mm f/2.8 and MD 24mm f/2.8. I've read some old threads here, but I couldn't find any satisfying answer. Is it even possible? And what...
Hello, Sorry to bother everyone with a question concerning a camera that many members of this forum are perhaps considering as an obsolete one... It happens that I have recently lost my DP2 Merrill (well, the mail service did it) and that I cannot easily switch to a Quattro-sensor based camera because this would require SPP 6+, which I cannot run under any GNU/Linux operating system (I'm using SPP 5.5.3 for my remaining DP1 Merrill). So I'm considering a brand new SD1 Merrill kit with the kit...
