I've heard that the 500mm f/4 doesn't seem to share the AF pulsing issues that the 150-600mm has on R cameras. It seems to be a great option for me but I really want to know how well the AF performs on the R5 when you add in a 1.4x TC. Also, should I go for the Sigma TC or the Canon EF 1.4x III? If anyone has any experience with this please let me know. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, before I bought the tc sigma 1.4x ex dg for this camera, I tested kenko 1.4x dgc and kenko 1.5x mc dg, only kenko 1.5x worked with my camera, but without autofocus. Nextly I bought this sigma 1.4x and at now I don't have autofocus, but but it displays all parameters. Of course, Nikon with only the Sigma 100-300 dg apo hsm have very fast AF. What could be the problem? Greetings

I've attempted multiple times to capture the full or near-full moon using the following gear: Tripod Canon EOS R5 Canon RF-EF adapter Sigma 1.4x TC Sigma Contemporary 150-600mm f/5.0-6.3 DG OS HSM lens Also note: I was in manual focus on the moon, which seemed to focus just fine in the moment I had lens OS (Optical Stability) off, but still had the camera's IBIS system on I was shooting in RAW mode I was at the max zoom of the lens, which realistically means I had a focal length of 840mm I...

Hi My English is not very good, I hope you can understand. I use 5D Mark iv with canon 70-200 f2.8 is iii usm to photograph birds I found that 200 mm Not enough for shooting birds at all So I think I need to get a super telephoto lens for bird photography, but I had a hard time deciding with these two lens. I'm thinking of buying a [Sigma 120-300 F2.8 Sports + Sigma Tc-2001 2x] to get a 600mm But the [Sigma 500mm f4 sport] is another interesting option Sigma seems to be my only option....

Hello, Currently (Oct. 2020), Sony is the only one providing lenses compatible with x1.4 and x2.0 teleconverters for Sony E mount. Do you believe that Sigma will create the 70-200 2.8 for Sony FE that will be compatible with Sony's or Sigma teleconverters? or rephrasing the  question: Is there any reason / limitation that Tamron and Sigma has NOT introduced teleconverters for tele-photo lenses? ( e.g. Sigma 100-400 DN, Tamron 70-180 2.8 ) The context of my question is that I'm struggling with...

I've searched high and low without results for any information on the performance of the Sigma 100-400mm on the A9 AFTER the firmware updates (5.00 and 5.01).   I see results from 2018 and see a great deal of results from 2018 for the A7RIII, which I also have but would use this lens with the A9.   I'll start by saying I've only purchased native Sony lenses in the past because I didn't want to deal with the issues, albeit minor issues to some given the price difference between the Sigma and...

well back to the all big debate, between these two. well here is my situation. I am a sports photographer at my local University (Utah Valley University). sports are super fun to take photos of, however I personally use my own gear (nikon d7100). I have noticed the marketing team using the all famous 100-400l cannon lens, while i use my 70-200mm sigma lens. of course I feel left out of the those long shots. then again I am not made out of money (I wish i was...) with that said i also shoot...
