The Sigma 30mm F2.8 EX DN is a standard lens designed exclusively for mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras, providing an equivalent angle of view of 60mm on Micro Four Thirds system cameras and 45mm on Sony E-mount (NEX). Construction comprises seven elements in five groups, including two molded glass aspherical lenses. A newly developed linear AF motor moves the lens elements directly without the need for gears. This system ensures accurate and quiet autofocusing, making the lens suitable for video recording as well as still photos. The lens features a rounded 7 blade diaphragm for attractive out of focus areas, and the lens has a minimum focusing distance of 30cm/11.8in.
